Yeah I have been looking at some but I'm undecided. I like the 1200 Sportster but it may be a little small for what I want. Its kind of cool that you can get a nice looking low mileage Harley for under 7 grand used.

The metric bikes I've looked at are the 1100 shadow and the 1100 v-star.

i would suggest a sv650 has plenty of power to get u out of a sticky situations, lets say a cager isnt slowing down while the light ur stopped at has just turned green. that's happened to me. just wind out 1st gear and ur at the speed limit in 1.5-2 seconds.

Suit sizing is a mix of height, chest size, and belly size. You can go to the alpinestars webpage for sizing info. their suits run a little small so i bought one size larger than the chart would indicate and it fit.

I consider myself pretty coordinated and a fast enough learner... what is realisticly the size I'm looking for in a bike. like if I got a kawasaki ninja 250r would I outgrow it too fast to make it worth it ? but I assume a 750cc or 1L bike would be way to much power to start off with.

that's the nc salvage law. pa could be different. it was obviously layed down at some point from the description with more damage than the signals. or, it could be a theft recovery. that can salvage title something also in alot of states.
