both versions of the scoped FG42. the top being FG42-1, and the bottom being FG42-2. after reading the history of this gun, and it possible usage in wwii, if these guns were made from the get-go, or if they would have been put into german soldier hands efficiently, there is no telling what the outcome of wwii would have been. if the game emulates even closely to what this gun can do in real life, an army equipped with these guns would almost be unstoppable. there were a lot of other behind-the-scene issues, such as production quality, gathering of the best materials for making them, and practicality of them which dampered their usage. the FG42-2 is what is in cod3, but personally i would like FG42-1 better because it gets 900 rds/min vs 600 rnds/min for the FG42-2. i found a website that seems to sell quality model guns, and it was fairly cheap i thought. it was 185gbp, unscoped.

10 and 20 rnds clips. the clip is perpendicular to the gun, ie it is stuck in the side of the rifle. i would think that it is possible to have a string of bullets loaded into it, but you most likely would have to stay stationary with that.

i found a site that sells the real thing for 4200 bones ... semi-auto tho, obviously

I picked up Star Trek: Legacy yesterday for 30 bucks from Gamestop (used and with my discount card )

It's a good stratagy game, and the graphics are awesome. Definitly could use better explosions though.

Ok, I'm yet to complete COD3, but the game is just awesome! Btw, I like the Stein gun and even MP40 better than FG42. MP40 I feel is a lot more accurate than the FGs, although, their firing power cannot be compared. I think I am in level four and friggin German army is on all sides.. I haven't played any other COD games, and I was thinking of picking up COD 2 if it was as good as COD 3.

i would say a few of the sp missions in cod2 were a bit better, and gameplay really has not changed, but the multiplayer is the real reason most people got this game. i would never pay 60 dollars for a games that will not at least last me 5 months, and the sp could not keep you occupied that long. overall, cod3 trumps cod2 on every front in my opinion.

the new maps learning curve is twice that of the maps bundled with the game. for the most part the are VERY wide and a LOT more places to hide. but one or two are not too bad. eg, ironclad on ctf, the flags are literally 30 yards from each other.

Yeah, I play Lumines religiously. I still can't get certain achievements so I still play to hone my skills. I think the most points I had on challenge mode was near 300,000, but I know that sucks compared to skilled players.

I've been thinking about venturing out into FPS and TPS more. I feel like I need to play Gears because I don't think my 360 experience will be complete until I play that. The GRAW series also looks fun, but the whole Tom Clancy thing isn't my cup of tea. I wouldn't mind playing that, but it seems better with friends.

I played the Crackdown demo last night. It's really fun.

I recently rented COD3 and Gears but havent gotten into them much...I have been on College Hoops 2K7 lately

3 years at Morgan State, 2 national titles...took the job at Bradley...Elite 8 first year, Championship 2nd year...then Coach K retired and my coach Sidney Lowe took over at Duke! Got to the title game his first year and lost but got coach of the year...as soon as that State job opens I'm on it!

kable if you like gears you'll probably like GRAW. both are tactical 3rd person shooters. while clancy games are a bit different, GRAW still has an arcadey feel to it in my opinion (i enjoyed it and im not big on his games anymore either).

^4, My college hoops has been buggy of late. In my second season the first 4 or 5 NCSU home games were played in the UMKC Kangaroo stadium for some reason.

Another thing that drives me nuts is that the CPU always goes on these streaks where they cannot miss a shot - sometimes ending the first half with a high 80s shooting percentage.

If you want a cheap ch2k7 just wait until ch2k8 comes out.
