up until this point in the show: eric losing his memory b/c of the witches and seeing the softer side of him is what most of the readers/eric fans (which we all know are primarily female) love about book 4. this plotline w/ he and sookie finally hooking up is what book/eric fans have been waiting for. sorry you hate it! i threw my hands up with a cheer last night when that happened
if alan ball and the writers had changed this part of the plot, you can pretty much guarantee there would've been a mutiny w/ their primary audience and fan base.

the tara twist is a show plot change though...so that does make this a bit more interesting and hairy. there's been so much half truths and crappy friendship between sookie and tara (on both sides) that this was a long time coming IMO...

strictly show storyline though: i'm just glad tommy killed his parents i was not a fan of bringing back the dog fighting thing, so i'm glad that was taken care of in the first few minutes last night.

When Tommy shifted into the gator and we saw it in the back of the van, it looked like it had a bloody mouth and the rest of the van was empty. I thought for a second that he'd "eaten" one or both of the bodies and was I pretty disgusted. That would've been too gross, but then again, not a bad tactic

I'm not sure he's in the clear quite yet. I remember the whole were/shifter/etc thing being pretty confusing in the books. It was something like "1 were parent can only have 1 were kid, but 2 can breed true but usually can't have many kids, and if a human gets bit they turn into some weird man/were hybrid during the full moon, but that only applies to were-panthers and they can't shift any other time" or something crazy like that, oh yeah, and then the vamp blood gives some protective abilities so he didn't shift the first moon or something. Blah it was all very confusing.

It was bad before, but now it's bad AND boring.

I didn't think it could get worse than Mary Anne, but they have outdone themselves this season. Name one character that they haven't "ruined". Tara is horrible, Sam is a psycho and not likeable, Sookie is as annoying as ever, Jason is tired, but somewhate funny, Bill is just annoying as the King, and they clipped Eric's balls.

i'm rooting for the witch to kill all the vampires. i know the vampires are the whole point of the show but logically, as a human, i feel like I would want the witch to win. but, since the show is about vampires and supernatural creatures, you know the witch isn't going to win which makes this season disappointing in that the side of the conflict i'm pulling for is going to come up short.

i think i could get more behind the plot if the witch had aspirations of world ending/domination/enslavement or something that would harm more than just vampires.
