I don't know about all banks but Bank of America gave me a hard time about removing someone from my checking account a few years ago. I was able to close the account and move all my direct deposit info over to a new account but I could not remove the person unless they were present to sign off. It was ridiculous in my opinion - the person was listed on my account because I was a minor when I got the account but they contributed nothing to the account but had access to it and could take money out anytime they liked.

that sounds like it was hard because the other party was the non-minor on the account, which as far as the banks go, ranks higher than a minor and is considered the owner/manager of the account.

Well I was no longer a minor when I wanted to remove the person and could prove that my income was the only money being deposited into my account.

I have the same issue with my Wachovia accounts but I just leave them be because my mom isn't psycho and it keeps me locked in their student accounts which basically have none of the fees

^dont be surprised when they roll it over into a "not-free" account with plenty of associated fees without ever telling you. I had a student account since I was 16, then one day I noticed all these fees on my checking account statement. Apparently they have the right to "update" you're account when you age out. Even with my father still on the account at Wachovia.

The pictures they showed yesterday with Nancy wearing the necklace and with all the testimony saying that she never took the necklace off, if they can't prove what happened with the necklace, it plays well into a SODDI defense. (motivated by the theft of an expensive diamond)

The "necklace testimony" is really bothering me.

All of Nancy's friends are testifying that this is the necklace that she "never took off."

Earlier, when questioning Hannah, the defense brought out a few emails of Hannah's that she sent to friends that basically said "Find all the photos of Nancy that you can, and make sure she has the necklace on"....with the intent of handing all these photos to the police as 'proof' that Nancy never took the necklace off.

So, that really doesn't look good in my opinion.


Also -- the necklace was bought in late 2007. How can any of these people possibly testify that "Nancy never took her necklace off." ??? Were they with her 24-hours per day, every day, since she got the necklace? If the defense can present one photo of Nancy after she had the necklace where she isn't wearing it, all the testimony about Nancy never taking the necklace off is, IMHO, null and void.

It is the same thing with the "Brad never cleaned" and the laundry testimony -- these people were not around 24-hours per day in Brad and Nancy's lives. How can they testify to what other people did in the privacy of their own home?

They are only testifying to what Nancy told them, which seems to be a bit...exaggerated. Because no one going through a divorce has ever exaggerated about their spouse, before.

Defense said that Nancy had $700 before her vacation to Hilton Head (which would be right before she was murdered, maybe a week-1.5 weeks?)

So far there has been testimony that Nancy was "mad because Brad didn't give her the $300 for the week."

But if Nancy had $700 the previous week...


...and of course, Krista "didn't recall" the $700.
