Yes, it was still good but what the FUCK.... Over half the shit during the climax was changed!!!

Not to mention, none of this lovey dovey and crying and all that bullshit happened between Hermione and Ron in the book... It was mentioned and implied a few times but not to the extent said movie showed

If they had left out all the shit they felt was necessary to add in, there would have been plenty of time for the huge battle scene at the end of the book and a great climax

For one, they came back to Hogsmeade, not directly to Hogwarts... They saw the Dark Mark above the school and made haste to the castle. A lot of people were fighting, like the professors and the death eaters.. but Dumbledore stunned Harry while he was wearing his invisibility cloak so he couldn't move or say anything and just had to watch it all go down


The only part I was truly happy with was when it showed Ron playing Quidditch and the cavern when they went to get the horcrux... The cavern part looked exactly as I pictured it while reading, down to what the basin looked like
