I thought this one was interesting, basically many people in the GOP are saying the DNC changed location because they couldn't fill the stadium. I find this interesting because I have a direct personal experience to prove this false. I stood in line near the end of the day they were giving free passes out and I saw the people after me upset because they had to sign up for a waiting list because they were out of passes. 9/7/2012 10:08:05 PM |

Congressional Republicans are showing their true colors. How could they deny vets the jobs they deserve after fighting for this country in endless wars????
Quote : | "Congressional Republicans, resolute in their commitment to deny the Democrats anything that looks like an accomplishment in an election year, have spent the week obstructing passage of the Veterans Job Corps Act of 2012. It’s a perfectly inoffensive bill from Senator Patty Murray, the Washington Democrat, meant to increase hiring and job training for veterans, especially those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan." |

What the fuck is going on in Arkansas? How the hell do these people even get this close to serving the people? It absolutely scares me that anyone really thinks like this.
Quote : | "Fuqua, who served in the Arkansas House from 1996 to 1998, wrote there is "no solution to the Muslim problem short of expelling all followers of the religion from the United States," in his 2012 book, titled "God's Law."
Fuqua said Saturday that he hadn't realized he'd become a target within his own party, which he said surprised him.
"I think my views are fairly well-accepted by most people," Fuqua said before hanging up, saying he was busy knocking on voters' doors. The attorney is running against incumbent Democratic Rep. James McLean in House District 63." |
Scare thing is it's probably true where he is running

It might help to not actually present an argument that conforms to the wikipedia definition to a T if you don't want to be called out on it
Since you apparently need this explained to you like a baby, here you go:
The argument being made is that it's racist to talk about sending Obama back to Kenya. Instead of addressing that argument, you negate the argument by saying that it's not racist to want him out of the oval office, since that was in a DIFFERENT part of the quote. But, and here's the tricky part so pay attention, wanting him out of the oval office is not the part of the quote in question.
See how that works? 10/15/2012 5:32:08 PM |

The lowest common denominator of the Republican party is the racist. They know this. That's why they get so defensive when racism is brought up, it's overcompensation.
That's why they pull that old strawman, "Oh you lieberals think all Obama criticism is based on racism!" because the only alternative would be to admit and talk about the racists in their party. They'd have to separate out the racist criticism from the non-racist ones, and that kind of critical thinking hurts party solidarity.
