I waited behind the arena after the game to GIVE this puck to Samson. I was told he had already left. That's all. Apparently they have already given him another puck and told him that it was it. At this point, I'm satisfied and he is too.

We've lost 6 out of 7 times I've seen the Canes on the road, I just need to fall into some money and hit the road full time and assure we keep up the fall for Hall.

HockeyRoman, Smashville...it stays with you. I was pretty impressed with the whole downtown arena area, we ended up stopping in most of the bars down there for at least a beer. I don't even recall seeing a Mike's Ice Cream, so I'm afraid we missed that stop. I don't remember running into one single asshole the whole time at the game, bars, etc. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Hey hey! The wound that Papa Sutter left when he abandoned us is still fresh you know! Look, I'll be the first to admit and probably said it early on that recycling Jacques Lemaire was likely to be a mistake. Thankfully, I've been very wrong especially when he stops fiddling with the Z-Z-Pops Ghost of the 2000 A-Line. But I do agree that Cam is one of the most impressive goalies out there and would hope that the Canes have the foresight to build the franchise around him.

Someone go tell the 2006 Stanley Cup losers to stop trying to screw this up for the Canes! They've worked hard to be this bad. I guess this is how Edmonton plans to exact their revenge!
