At first it was just incompetent foreign policy from the Obama administration.

Then it was lying about the cause of the attack for political points.

Not a big scandal by democrat standards though, to be fair.

Well apparently it is coming out that Trump should have never ordered the botched Yemen raid but went ahead anyway eventhough the team he sent knew they were compromised. Obama held off on it because there were too many questions. No good intel and a lack of ground support. Not a good start for this incompetent ass.

I don't think President Bannon cares at all about converting the people who disapprove. It's all about further radicalizing the approve group.

Which side is "radicalized" again?

Could it be the one not "respecting the results of the election"?

This is flat out 1930's era propaganda. What the actual fuck? A made up massacre to provide justification something. I mean, really?

As best I can tell, two Iraqis were arrested years ago for a plot that was never executed IN IRAQ and that was in Kentucky (can't tell if they were actually arrested in Bowling Green).

Guys, I think JCE might be right...I was so wrapped up in my SJW liberal echo chamber that I never even heard about the Bowling Green Massacre. #prayforbowlinggreen

It's not a big deal but Trump just tweeted about the Louvre. No tweets at all about Quebec City.

I don't expect him to tweet about every bit of violence but that was a pretty big damn thing that happened up there and I don't think it's out of line to say that it is very inconsistent.

^^^ for what it's worth if it's the FSB regulation that was eased for businesses that was very procedural and was planned by Obama administration. Not a big deal and the right thing to do

Except if you replace the word massacre with terrorists, the sentence doesn't make much sense

Quote :
"...after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre terrorists"

They were they masterminds behind themselves?

I want to point out with her, just like with all the stupid liberals that do this shit. You can't just say something inflammatory, get people riled up, then go back a few hours later and say "whoops," I misspoke. These days when potentially harmful information gets distributed to thousands, or millions, instantly, you can't just take your words back later.

She tweeted that literally after my last post in the thread.

And it still doesn't make sense. She was lying, got caught and made an excuse. Just like people would (at times, rightfully) accuse HRC of doing.

It was going to cost all those poor financial institutions lots of money to either inform consumers they are charging them unnecessarily or stop charging them unnecessarily

So now that they won't have that money it's not going to trickle back down to the consumers they were charging unnecessarily

Pretty good read about the tactic of fear and how Trump is just a different breed than anything we have seen from either side in a long time. I agree with it though I know some won't.

I'm glad President Trump played golf today. I hope he realizes, unlike the dozens of times when he criticized Obama for doing the same thing, that a break from being the most responsible man in the free world is important for his well being.

People will freak out but Trump is partially correct on the US moral relativism with Russia. At least on a foreign policy level. Of course we have a far better record on protecting speech and a free press but he's not wrong on foreign policy.

Now we get to see the GOP twist and turn in circles to avoid criticizing him after screaming at Obama for eight years about his "apology tour."

Trump wasn't talking about moral relativism or anything like that. Trump has long expressed support for fascist tactics like tianenman square, and people like Kim Jong il, Gaddafi, erdogan, saddam, and Putin. Trump is just saying it's a good thing that Putin is able to keep a tight leash on public dissent and journalists with assassinations.

The us has a lot of destructive foreign policy but we are way better than Russia in terms of free speech, which is the context of oreiilys question.

"If Trump knows of an American leader who has had rivals poisoned on foreign soil with radiation, by all means let us now who that was or is."

Again, my point was solely in foreign policy context. It appears Trump has little desire to stop the wrongs of Bush/Obama already even early on. It is interesting that he is parroting extreme far-left speak though and as I said it puts the GOP in an awful spot.

Anyway, here is some non-judgmental lines from trump on certain leaders. These are not foreign policy issues, but rather domestic and this is why I said he is right and wrong. He clearly is drawn to what he perceives as "strong leaders" but that doesn't necessarily mean anything and he does frame it as they are bad people.

On Saddam:
Quote :
""He was a bad guy -- really bad guy. But you know what? He did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn't read them the rights. They didn't talk. They were terrorists. Over. Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism," Trump said."

On Kim Jong Un
Quote :
""How many young guys -- he was like 26 or 25 when his father died -- take over these tough generals, and all of a sudden ... he goes in, he takes over, and he’s the boss," Trump said. "It's incredible. He wiped out the uncle, he wiped out this one, that one. I mean this guy doesn't play games. And we can't play games with him.""

He's made similar on Erdogan's purge and on Tianeman Square.

So are legal immigrants the target of ire for the GOP now?

First it was just illegals, then it was legal immigrants who might be poor, now it's legal immigrants and visitors flying over here of a certain religion.

Who's next I wonder...
