my dad took a massive oak tree down in our yard on saturday - we thought that there would be an emergency room visit in our future, but it went done without a problem.

It took my dad TWO years to get this tree down. it was about a 35 foot tall oak tree to begin with that our former neighbors killed when they put this massive addition on.

Instead of paying someone $2k to do it, he spent about $5 or $6k in "gear" to take it down.

although, two years for my dad finishing a project isn't too bad
