^^ That sounds more like a spider bite. Look closely, and see if there's 2 holes. That's usually indicative of a spider bite.

I got bit by a something a couple months ago (I think it was a spider), but I was really allergic to it. It had never happened to me before. I went to the Dr. and they gave me hydrocortisone ointment, and it finally went away. It turned purplish, swelled up to the size of a bouncey ball, and itched but hurt to scratch. It was miserable!
