ha, yeah.

i hadnt left my apt until just now to throw the trub out in the garbage, i dont like keeping spent hops around very long with a dog in the house.

upon comming back into the common area it's quite pungent

well, i use a two stage fermentation setup, so, i expect the first stage to be ready to transfer in 3-4 days. the specific gravity of this brew so far was a bit on the high end already.

after that, i plan to do 7 days in the secondary fermenter, then bottle age for ~2-3 weeks.

this batch is an english pale ale

hmm...I don't remember any strippers, well not professional ones anyways. I realized 3 things last night: 1) Oceanic in Wrighstville Beach has really good seafood, 2) Strapless dresses are ftw especially on a drunk girl who doesn't really care if she's falling out, 3) It's always fun to sit back and drink while watching another member of your group get plastered and look silly.

I fail! I should've moderated my food intake last night... That or eaten some apples, cooked some veggies, and gone easy on the salt.

I've had to medicate the shit out of myself to keep myself from getting sick and now I'm able to rehydrate again. My stomach has just informed me that it is going to cause me trouble for the rest of the day as a result. I have 55 minutes to get shaved, get clothes ready, and show up to my parents' house for mother's day. I can't get a card or anything either, so I hope they're all happy with hugs!

Dammit I need to just throw out all the trash food I have here and start from scratch.
