Yes everything you do is awful
Completely terrible
I just don't get how hard it is to find a shape that works for you and shop for that? Sorry if I don't enjoy having the same closet as someone else.

what is the difference in me seeing that dress on a random web page and wanting and seeing it here and wanting it? we don't know each each other and we don't hang out in the same circles.

I know a thing or two about pain meds.
Didn't like the fact that I'd shit bricks though. I will take a muscle relaxer just to fall asleep, sometimes. That shit's awesome, if you have insomnia. 7/27/2012 12:03:37 AM |

Soma and chlorzoxazone works for me. Don't remember much about flexeril. Metaxalone doesn't do it for me either. 7/27/2012 12:08:28 AM |

i need recommendations for a foundation that gives good coverage, is kind to sensitive skin, and comes in a light color for pale/fair skin (that won't make my face look pink or orange)
i usually don't want so much coverage, but i'm going to be in an outdoor wedding next friday (outdoor in August...ugh!) and my face has recently started breaking out (just a few small blemishes on my chin and cheeks). i want something that will hide blemishes and won't easily sweat off. 7/27/2012 9:57:36 AM |

I did Rent the Runway for my bridal shower (promo code for my birthday was $50 off a $75 rental, can't say no to that). It was fun!
If anyone wants an invite, lemme know. I can give you $25 off a rental

heh, too late to edit. here were the best articles on face stuff:

I found this video a couple weeks ago by a chick with severe acne, and like those other chicks she uses very expensive products, but her before and after is just crazy. her contouring video looks interesting too.

I just don't use that much of that stuff, I hate wearing foundation. I really like the mineral type foundations and concealers that you just brush on. lots of powder can cover minor blemishes pretty well on it's own.
I think skincare leading up to the event is as important as buying makeup and practicing. a combination of benzoyl peroxide 2.5% for the spots at night (My fave: neutrogena on-the-spot) and acetylsalicylic acid 2% in the form of a facewash once a day helps a lot of people.
I'm trying to be frugal with the beauty crap so I can blow the money elsewhere and the foam has lasted well over a year. My mom gave me the scrub, which also has salicyclic acid, and the suds are really luxurious and i like it, but really, these micropulse brushes are so much better than grit at exfoliating your face. the beads do nothing.
I got one of these things a couple months ago and I really like it. I don't know if it's the best version, but it has held up so far and seems to be waterproof in the shower.

I like the Olay Pro-X too
only use it about once a week though
it tended to give me breakouts if I used it daily or alternating days 7/27/2012 5:56:20 PM |

supercat have you tried bare minerals? I am really pale and I've been using the stuff for years. I use the lightest shade they have, fair I think.
Not everyone likes them as much as me. I think if you have an oilier complexion it tends to cake up and get kinda gross but it's worked for me. you can put on as much or as little as you need. I usually just get my T zone and blend it out.
for blemishes I just use the concealer brush they have and hit the spots. they also have actual concealers, well-rested I think is the lightest shade of that. I used that to cover a black eye I got one summer and no one knew it was there after the swelling went away. Its awesome stuff. ] 7/27/2012 5:59:13 PM |

I think 3 times a week is ideal for me, but i usually only remember to do it twice. it has made a huge difference for my nose, where i get a little scaly with the KP. I feel like I look a couple years younger after using the brush.
i'm wondering if the crazy expensive one is that much better.
Almay makes a mineral makeup that I use since it is a lot cheaper than the pureminerals. this product, in particular, is really convenient.
I'M also very pale and the lightest shade works well for me. it has a bit of mica, which I like.
I love the physicians formula powders too, but the brushes suck. mirror in the package rocks. These powders are matte.

idk about used brushes but i have definitely picked up cheap brushes at michaels before and used them
also, i have a haircut on thursday and I'm not even sure what I want I just know my hair is driving me totally nuts and I need to cut more of it off
Right now it's still blonde but the roots are coming in. I kinda like them like that. It's like half and half where it's buzzed.
anyway, I was thinking of keeping the buzzed parts pretty much as is and shortening up the swoopy part
those are kinda what I think I'd want. but if anyone knows of a good site with pixie cuts I'd be much obliged. GIS isn't really showing me anything I love] 7/29/2012 8:56:44 PM |
