I still cannot claim my tickets for Virginia. I go in to request/claim and it says there are no more seats available. I go into "Your Tickets" and it shows where I have a student and a guest requested but I can't get em. Whats the deal?

I claimed mine around noon yesterday and everything was fine then. Are you sure you guys won the lottery? The ticket system has a knack for having problems though. I wonder just how much athletics paid ticket return for that piece of crap they are using.

^^ yes, it happens. it happened to me for the Ga Tech game. Just email Adam Whitehouse from Campus Community Committee from the Student Senate. He handles appeals, and seemed to be very understanding with my similar situation.

hah. A member of my group signed up in my group for UVA tickets and says he claimed a ticket during the lottery claim period. Funny thing is that everyone but him has sect 113. He has 313.

same thing here...one guy that didn't get signed up in our campout group, yet registered like normal with our group leaders ID got a ticket in 313 whereas we're in 106. If you didn't do campout you get bad seats pretty much...but that's how it should be.

^^not true, I didn't do campout and I got 111 like row 10. And why should it be that way if you don't do campout? I am doing a co-op and am in VA. Leaving to come down there from work, it would be pushing it to get to campus before the first line check.

but the system doesn't cause those empty seats. people not using tickets does. that was the whole reason to go to this system . . to penalize people who don't use tickets and reward people who do. It just takes time to weed out the idiots and to work the kinks out of the system. If it gets to be this time next year and they are still having problems, then you can blame the "shitty system". But even then, I would say it is more of a shitty company that runs the system then the system itself being shitty.

I honestly think I just got the last MD ticket. I clicked on claim period for MD game and it said "Supply has exceeded demand for this game, you may request a ticket now." So I'm all like shweet and get a 300 level ticket. So I go into my gf's account to sign her up for a ticket and it says there are no more tickets available. Cuttin it kinda close.

OK so I requested a guest ticket but that person can't come. I can't sign up for my ticket until I put in the credit card thing and all that for the guest ticket. I went to cancel tickets, clicked on the maryland game, and it said cancel tickets for this event. will this cancel mine and the guest or will it give me the option? Lee said yes, but I'm not so sure. Row A is the first row behind the boards because it's also used for hockey. The rows beside the band are numbered, and the letters start behind them.

Can anybody explain to me why my group continues to get split up when we go to the games? The Maryland game was the third one in a row where my group did not have seats next to each other. Admittedly, they were in the same row, but why can't we all sit together? Here's a picture of how our seats were yesterday (excuse my lack of Paint skills):



My group had 5 people, which are represented by the red seats. There were two people who had seats in between us (the orange seats). And since we were in row L along the baseline, we were also split between permanent seats on the left and temporary seats on the right by a railing (the gray line). I can handle getting split between a railing, but I'm sick of my group getting split up. This needs to stop happening!

^my guess with that would be that they didn't claim within the claim period, but rather got their tickets during the on-demand period. Tickets are only reserved for you during the claim period.

and the site was slow for a lot of people yesterday, which might be why it was slow (a lot of people)

once you win tickets, you should go ahead and print them then...when you know it's working...there's really nothing anyone can do for you that late in the process, so if you try to print early on at least you'd have to time to complain when it matters
