if no P.P.R's, then I would honestly go with Lundy over T.O.
I know that will get plenty of laughs, but Romo is going to have one hell of a time getting off passes to T.O.
TO will finish with some nice yardage, but Lundy will have 80 and a goaline score.
I am laying it on the line...start Lundy. 10/27/2006 7:40:38 PM |

and I would not.
Stroud and Peterson are out for the Jags, so they will run. Add in the fact that Stallworth is making his return, and I dont see alot of action for LJ Smith, not to mention that he hasnt practiced all week (until a Thursday walk through) because of a sore back.
Cotchery's corner that he will be facing is 5'10''. J-Co is going to abuse him for multiple crossing patterns and deep fades.
I <3 Cotchery this week.10/27/2006 7:43:37 PM |

I'd say Palmer.
With Henry back in the lineup, and playing at home, I think the Bengals come out and seriously flex some muscles.
300 and 3 TD's

i'm loaded at rb thanks to a good draft and free agent pickups. i already have larry johnson and willie parker starting, but have the flex spot left (i'm trying to trade a rb for a great wr, but have been unsuccessful so far)
pick 1 T. Henry vs. Houston J. Jones vs. Carolina A. Toomer vs. TB F. Gore vs. Chicago L. Jordan vs. Pittsburgh

^yes he is. no offense, but how the fuck can you make my sit start when you can't make your easy as fucking hell one?
GB gives up 2 TDs to every QB they play. They gave up 2 to fucking joey harrington last week. Seriously, this is third grade level shit. Brees can certainly do well against the ravens, but its all about confidence interval. You can be sure that the GB D won't step up. 10/28/2006 3:27:55 PM |

bkhardee, Its rare that you will hear me say this during this season, but I actually recommend Plummer. Jake Plummer is one of the only quarterbacks have absolutely has to have the running game working in order to be able to throw the ball. This will be the case this week, as Denver's O-line will create huge lanes for Tatum bell. This in turn, will set up the playaction pass, which even people who hate him admit, Plummer is one of the best at in the league.
Compound that with the fact that two starting safties are out for the Colts, I honestly have jake passing for 250 and 2-3 TD's. 1 to a WR, 1 to a RB, and one to a TE. Jake will be Jake, and he also have 1 pick and 1 fumble, but he makes a good start. I like him over Frye.
MOODY, Brad johnson has been up and down, but Marcus Robinson likely being out will really hurt him in this game against an underrated NE defense. I really think Johnson's throws will be even more of the dink and dunk kind of things that we are used to seeing with the Vikings. I think they rely heavily on the run game, 30+ carries for Chester, and maybe 200 yds, 1 td, 2 picks from Johnson.
Brees on the other hand, could be a very solid play this week. I know they are playing the Ravens and all, but we all saw what Delhomme did to the Ravens secondary...I dont think it's crazy to think that Brees wont do the same thing. The Ravens defense is good, but their front 7 is by far more dominant than the secondary, despite the big names in Reed and McAllister. They just arent playing well together as of late. Brees will have to pass because the run will be stopped, and honestly, even though the Panthers have the better weapon in Smith, Brees has more quality weapons to throw to in Horn, Colston, Henderson, Bush and Duece. Brees will go ~27-46, have 350 and 2 TDs, and 3 picks. Bold numbers, but I have a feeling that that secondary will be exposed once again.
Go with Brees.

no offense, but eat a dick
I feel the same way Panthro does about the Brees vs. Baltimore situation and that Brees could have a big day. Leinart hasnt been in practice this week preparing for the game, so after switching back and forth in my head I decided to get an outsiders opinion. I'm perfectly able to make the decision on my own, and no matter which QB I start I'm fairly confident that they will both have good days this week10/28/2006 10:49:51 PM |

Jones and Green
I say Green over Johnson because Greg Jennings is out and GB will have to rely on the run more often without their top WR.
They are also going against the weakest defenses.
