im already fully monetized. wouldn't chase it now, except for a day's trade here or there.
i've been keeping an eye on the nasdaq unusual volume list. sometimes i can catch a stock that shows up several days in a row without the price spiking. JTEC just showed up on it, but it already had a price spike. i'm chasing it for now. hopefully it will offset the hit i took on RHGP.
starting to get slammed at work -- so since i'm not going to have time to watch it this week, i may just sideline all my activity. 10/1/2007 11:58:31 AM |

CROX too scary for me. i'm just going to admit i missed the boat on it. would rather speculate on Under Armor ahead of Christmas/4Q 10/1/2007 12:00:56 PM |

According to my girlfriend (who works in a toy store), Crox is going to release 5 new shoes in the next 2 months. She was my initial info about them...$80 ago. 10/1/2007 12:04:03 PM |

^ I read somewhere there was a new clothing line they are going to put out soon in addition to more shoes, just stay away from the escalators....Just curious, but the stock isn't even $80, how'd you get it $80 ago?

^CROX split June 15, 2007.
Also, he's saying he didn't buy it when it was $6 a share. He should have, but didn't.
They also completely bought the Jibbitz line, and they're manufacturing new bracelets and hats to go with the jibbitz. Their new shoes are going to include a new leather line, canvas line and suede line, so that they can be worn to work. They also have fleece lined crocs for winter now.
The tagline for their new clothing line is "Rock on with your Crocs on"

CPSL, Chinese Precision Steel, Inc. Ive been watching it for the past week or so...Hit close to $13 then dropped to ~7.30.
I've just been curious about these Chinese stocks with the 2008 olympics being in Beijing, China.

gonna sell NVT if I find anywhere else I want to put the money. Otherwise, I'll just hold it for a few more months until the buyout at $78 (it's at $76.xx right now).
i thought about jumping on some more shares of GRMN today on the 10.2% dip (I just find it hard to believe that NVT getting bought by Nokia is THAT bad of news for GRMN). I still might do it...
but GRMN is already easily my largest holding (like, over double the size of my next largest holding)...I hate to put all of my eggs in one basket. 10/1/2007 5:35:00 PM |

In my Scottrade account (non-retirement), I'm up 22.53% so far in 2007 on what I'm holding, and up 22.69% so far this year on what I've sold.
I was up 25.xx% on holdings for the year, but the last 2 days have been painful.
I don't know what I'm up in my IRA...I was just thinking the other day that I oughta check on it. I'm sure it's a decent return, but nothing spectacular. It's mostly S&P 500 index, with small cap, mid cap, and international/emerging market indices.
