So I usually just find a HT that has been hit hard and get a raincheck and go back when the price is back to normal OR on a better sale (ie B1G1) That equates to buy 1 get 4 free. I have done that several times. You can get a rain check if their stock is severely diminished.

Kroger is having a Buy 10 Participating items, get $3 off your order deal this week.

Included is Purex laundry detergent ($2.12 after buying 10 items). If you buy 2, you get a $4 on your next order coupon at checkout.

so buying 2 @ 2.19= 4.38
-$1.40 (2 .35/1 coupons)
$2.98/2 then you get a $4 ONYO coupon.

Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits are included also. They are $.99 after the buy 10 deal. If you buy 6, you get a $4 ONYO coupon.

so buying 6 @ $.99= 5.94
-1.60(2 .40/3 coupons)
$4.34/6 then you get a $4 ONYO coupon. $.34/6 cans of biscuits.

here is what I did:

6 cans of biscuits
2 Purex
2 cans Chef Boyardee (10/$10 and included in the Buy 10 deal)

Used 2 .40/3 coupons, 2 .35/1 coupon and a .50/2 coupon for chef boyardee that I found online.

OOP I spent $7.99 (after the $3 off for buying 10 items) and got back $8 in ONYO coupons

Sweet, I'm going to have to try this. I can't eat the canned buscuits but I'm sure I can find someone that wants them.

So do you actually need everything you buy, or do you just buy things because you can get them for free?

I think if I had the coupons for things, I would probably get them even if I didn't need them and either give them away or find a use for them at some point.

That makes sense, wish I had been clipping coupons leading up to this.

On that note, I have some $1 off coupons for any Coke product, so I'm going to definitely stock up on some free 2-liters.

^That is pretty much true, I've complained to them once when I picked up a case and the cans were too dented to drink out of. They request that you tell them the store and when you purchased them, but otherwise they'll send you a coupon.

I'm going back to HT at lunch. Hope its not too picked over.

Coke 2 liters are $1.59 at HT so if your coupon is for $1, they will double up to $1.59. If you look at your coupon and the little number in front of the barcode is a 5, it will double. If the number is a 9, it will not and you will $.59 for your 2 liter.

I also have some Free 20oz. coupons, they start with a "5" but don't think you can double them since they don't have an actual value until the item is purchased.

You are correct.

Both. I use a lot of coupons to get easy dinner/snack foods for my husband and some snack/pre-packaged items I'd never buy without coupons+sale, but I use a lot of coupons for toiletries and staples - especially canned goods and frozen vegetables. I pretty much never have to buy ingredients to make anything unless it's fresh produce or a very uncommon spice (e.g., garam masala. *ahem*fuckwads*ahem*).

It totally paid off this weekend when my roommate and I were sick as dogs, and she desperately wanted tomato soup, and we had none. I had canned tomato sauce in my cabinets that I paid something like $0.12 for

And I have donated many, many toiletries to the women's shelter. Usually I run out of storage space, and pare down my inventory based on what I like most, what goes on sale (and gets lots of coupons) frequently, and my needs - I used to buy shampoo and conditioner at about a 1:1 ratio, but when I stopped washing my hair every day, I stopped needing as much conditioner. So now I skew my stock more definitely towards shampoo.

And then sometimes they're effectively a free upgrade: ivory bar soap, or the really good-smelling dove stuff for almost the same price, because of coupons.

I got two bottles of this for $2 and $3 each today. There is no better OTC cold medicine

I have a ton of cat food coupons you can have. There's a dog and 2 cats here but I use TSC horse bedding as litter ($6 for 40lbs) and don't feed grocery store brand food (gives them the nasty poops).

If the target coupon was in the newspaper then I have that one too.

Every Friday, they release a coupon that is only good on that Friday. Last week I believe it was a free sandwich with any purchase. You can go to their Twitter page on Fridays and print the coupon. Just remember its only good on Friday.

Go there and you can print a $2 coupon for Land O Frost Premium deli meat. The 1lb bag is on sale at Walmart for $3 so you can get a 1lb bag of deli meat for $1.

I went last night and got 2 bags for $2. They have roast beef, ham (couple diff. kinds) and turkey (couple diff. kinds)

If you hit the back button on your browser after printing the coupon, it should let you print another one. Most print limits on internet printables is 2 per IP address.

Anyone had good luck getting Kroger to grind a sirloin tip roast into burger for them? I ran out of ground meat and want some lean stuff cheap, this looks like the best option since it's on sale right now.
