viny - I actually work at the Jersey store and remember you coming in and ordering that THAMTHONOV jersey. I do all the heat sealed jerseys done at the store so if you had had it sealed I would've done it for you but as I remember you had it sent off to be stitched.

Yea if you can wait I'd go stitched too. In regards to appearance there's no difference but every once in a while we have a name plate or number here or there that needs a little re-sealing on the press but really it doesnt matter.

My recommendations to anyone who wants it stitched but also doesn't wanna wait the 4-6 weeks it takes. Get it heat pressed, then bring it to a dry cleaner and most will stitch it on for $5 bucks. That saves $10 off the stitching price and is the exact same thing.

Little known but when they stitch your stuff on, they heat seal it first so the name plate/numbers dont move during the stitching.

But what am I doing, this will only give me more work to do... at least I love what I do

Eric Staal to the All-Star Game again.

Cam Ward deserved to go over Lundqvist IMO, but the Rangers needed a representative, so there you go.

"RALEIGH, NC—The “Walker 24” signature sub, a sandwich designed by Carolina Hurricanes winger Scott Walker, is now available at Harris Teeter locations throughout the Triangle. Walker will make an appearance at the Harris Teeter at 2208 Kildaire Farm Rd., in Cary, on Wednesday, Jan. 14 from 5-6 p.m., to coincide with the release of his signature sub.

The “Walker 24” is the first of three Hurricanes players’ signature subs scheduled that will be featured at Harris Teeter’s Fresh Foods Market in the coming months. Hurricanes forward Wade Brookbank’s signature sub, “Brookbank’s Power House,” is scheduled to hit Harris Teeter locations in early February, and Ryan Bayda’s “Rhino” will hit stores in early March. Each of the three made-to-order sandwiches features meats, cheeses and toppings selected by the players whose names they bear."

Is the Brookbank sub going to sit on the shelf for weeks on end?

so, is this a $10 double footlong? are there 24 ingredients? does it take 24 hours to eat? what (other than that being his jersey #) is the significance of calling it the "walker 24" since the other subs don't have numbers?

He won't be playing today with Kaberle back in the line-up. He can walk without crutches now, and will be getting an MRI today. The coaching staff is optimistic that it's not serious.

Good of the NHL schedule makers to have the foresight to know that the Panthers would be playing in the playoffs today and to schedule the game for the afternoon

for fucks sake, ESPN.com has an article about potential NHL re-alignment, and the ONLY team whose former city is referenced is of course the Canes. Shit pisses me off, so I wrote emails to the website and to Bucci. Not that it'll do a damn thing, but....

Well it's because once the Whalers moved, ESPN people had no local teams close by anymore.

Duhhhh.

We will be right there with ya man. I fully expect to be the unwilling participant in some sort of sucker punch at that game.

We will be in sec 120, 15 rows up on the aisle. This will be on the penalty box side on the corner, on the canes shoot twice side. Sweden and I will both be rockin the Canes sweaters.

The canes pulling this game out would almost erase the shittyness that has been NC sports in the last week.

there's no reason we shouldnt light the lamp at least 4 times tonight with an AHL goalie in the cage for the Sens.

Here's to our goal scorers actually scoring......

They've had two good scoring chances and scored twice. We can't get even get a good shot against this AHL goalie.
