there's probably some obscure ABC regulation that's written broadly enough for them to say anything they want about saucer-like programs. Hopefully there is a simple solution to this (if a problem exists), like the membership fee stupidity. Otherwise, I'd be interested to see what FS does to continue their business as a 'rewards' type club.

Wish this state didn't have so many bible thumpers so scared of alcohol, that way we could hopefully get some more progress underway on reforming ABC laws/dismantling the ABC.

I saw nothing about this when at the Saucer on Monday. Tom's House mentioned that a lot of MOU's on FB have been chatting about it.

If this is true I will be supremely pissed, as I've been trying to find a time to plan a party for my 2nd plate, that I finished a few months ago. ( )

Went tuesday for a few beers mid day and there were signs on the computers... Said they would still put a plate up for you but couldnt offer the gift cards or the 100 dollar party anymore. I have a friend that i waited a year to finish his and he just did right before the changes were posted.

200 beers is a lot of time and money without any incentives to keep you motivated along the way. this won't hurt the existing customer base, but it'll definitely deter people from paying the initial UFO entry fee when all they'll get is a cheap t-shirt and a pat on the back

^I see no reason why they can't continue to email those out (they are not monthly btw). However they might change the fine print so that they are only valid for non-alcohol items.

Any updates? I tried contacting the management a few times, but never heard back. I hope they have something planned. I know I have much less reason to go there now and probably won't visit too often (can get good beer for cheaper else where and in more convenient places, so with no perks, going there is meh.
