Just like with Lowe, I'm not sure how anyone can be that upset with people questioning the direction of the program under TOB. He's obviously going to get the last season with Glennon next year and hopefully a less than disastrous injury record but it doesn't make you a shitty fan or a UNC fan for criticizing.

Basically....it is getting hard to stand behind TOB. Need him to get team to pull it together and put up a visible fight and adjustment to look like a damn College Football Team.

I was never a fan of TOB but i supported him. I would much like to go back to my original signature which included Fire Herb, (however it would now state Fire TOB)...but I am trying to be more reserved.

TOB still has credibility with me. The program is better than when he got here. We've had unfortunate luck with a lot of injuries for two seasons, but I have faith he can get us going. I will be disappointed if he is not our head coach next year, even if we lose out. No, injuries aren't an "excuse", but when you lose that much on one side of the ball and in one particular area as important as the defensive line--it certainly does effect things.

And I do hope that you guys do realize that at some point we will lose to UNC, so no, he shouldn't lose his job just because he lost to UNC once in five years (if he loses this year at all).

I think people's biggest gripe with O'brien isn't the losses this year ... injuries, a new QB, etc are taken its toll. My problem is that there's little reason for optimism in the future. Yes, he's got a good track record of finding diamonds in the rough, but our recent recruiting classes aren't exactly stellar. If we don't start getting better athletes in the program, the FSU's and Clemson's of the world are going to work us.

Potential replacements (should it come to that): Bud Foster, Mark Stoops, Rich Rodriguez.

I would love me some Bud Foster. The problem I see is that the college football game has changed a whole lot over the past five to ten years. We are talking about 18 year old kids here who want to play for a guy with some fire and passion, which let's face it TOB does not have. You can see the obvious difference in recruiting between Chuck and TOB. We need to find someone somewhere in the middle who has a personality that big time athletes want to come play for, but one that actually knows how to coach and keep them disciplined.
