Finally got a couple vids uploaded. Both are RC-XD clips. First one I get the first guy with a claymore then drive RC around the corner to get his buddy. Second one is hilarious cus the guy is standing behind the bar and I backflip my RC up in the air over the bar to blow up in his face.

Played a knife-only game of TDM so I could finish off lightweight pro. I'm no carzin, but finished close to 1.0. Would have had more kills if I didn't confuse myself by switching over from tactical layout, and probably half of my deaths were from claymores and launchers. Pretty fun, but I don't have the thumb stamina for it.

Flak Jacket is pretty much a necessity if you're going to be playing the objective

I like Sleight of Hand Pro on every class and Marathon, too, because everything in the third slot sucks

Marathon Pro is great for HQ because you're always getting spawned on the other side of the map

Famas with dual mags is pretty much the only gun I'm playing with now, even on Nuketown and Firing Range. I seem to have lost my touch with the 74u.

x, Someone mind embedding my Tomahawk montage? I got 7 in one match, my favorite of which was a guy in second chance who I scalped from a long ways off, just as his teammate revived him. He didn't even get stood straight up before I cut him back down.

is there a simple fast way to get to a certain point in a match, or do y'all just spend a lot of time sifting through the matches?

I just can't bring myself to spend the time going through it.

With a little practice, you can make those videos in just a minute or two. I made that tomahawk compilation in like 5 minutes, which is less time than it takes to play one [normal] game of TDM.

Another upload finally showed up this afternoon. This is my first experiment with the dolly camera. I think I'll be using it more often to make clips.

This is a somewhat blind crossbow stick. I saw the red dot in the trailer and fired one thru the window hoping to get an explosion kill. Much to my surprise and delight, I got a hit marker to let me know I stuck some poor soul. Then I watched it later and was excited to see that I stuck him right in the side of the head. I showed it from his persepective too, I'm sure he was screaming "WTF JUST HAPPENED?!?!?" Thing of beauty

what's this dolly camera, is it the thing ive been wanting that acts like a final killcam where it follows the projectile to the victim?

I can be used that way. It's basically where you choose a starting camera position/angle at any given time in the playback. Then you choose an ending camera position/angle. You can adjust the path and the action/speed.

When you're in "free camera" mode, press RB and it'll toggle the dolly camera. Then use the onscreen button assignments to experiment with the different settings and whatnot.

For instance, in my most recent vid, I pasued the video when my character was looking down the sights of the crossbow. I switched to free camera and toggle the dolly, then positioned the camera right down the "barrel" of the cross bow. Then I let the video play until my bolt hit and set the final camera in front of the guy I stuck. Then I rewound the playback and while still in dolly camera mode I pressed play and recorded the clip.

my new favorite Nuketown setup:

Commando w/ Red Dot and Extended Mags
CZ75 Full Auto
Semtex
Nova Gas
Claymore
Scavenger
Warlord Pro
Second Chance Pro

With Warlord Pro, I start off with 2 semtex and 2 nova gas grenades...I use Scavenger to pick up more...Second Chance Pro works well if you're in friendly territory, and also helps prevent random nade kills...went 16-5 the first time I used this, and it was lots of fun...I need to start running Gasmask, throwing Nova, and just crouching in the gassed area

Didn't mention it above, but nova gas is by far the best tactical grenade for objective games. If you know the maps you can use it like a wall to keep dudes out while you cap objectives, and you'll get hit markers if anyone runs into it.

I've run that warlord pro + scavenger setup before, but I don't really have a use for warlord as I like most of the iron sights and I gots to have my sleight of hand pro.

I'm honestly going to kick punch my xbox next time a dude drops into second chance. Read somewhere the other day, though, that the next update will give the kill to the player who puts a guy into second chance and an assist to the player who finishes him off.

Oh please dear god make this happen. I get so mad when I put someone into last stand and then someone else steals my kill, it makes me yell at my tv a lot of the time.

How are you uploading more than one at a time without the most recent upload overwriting the previous one? (since they always are named the same thing: Gamertag - Black Ops Game Clip)

I'm having to render one, then wait 12+ hours for it to show up on youtube, then re-name it, rinse & repeat.

I THINK I'm able to do this (youtube currently shows no new videos)...the three I rendered last night, I saved in 3 of my 6 fileshare spots...so while they overwrote 3 previous clips, I don't think they'll overwrite each other

Also, even though they all have the default name, Youtube doesn't care. I had about 15 videos on my youtube account, all with the exact same name (then I renamed them for descriptive purposes)

One video won't overwrite another just because they have the same title
