Romar would be alright i think, but to be honest, for the first time in 10 years, i feel good about the direction of the basketball program

i trust that whomever Yow hires will be ready to take on the challenge

No most of us were saying that before. This is a recurring theme. His NCAA track record is worse than Herb's considering the amount of times he's been. It's only been 2 years ago he went 8-10 and was in the NIT. He's already shown his ceiling at a high major is not what we are looking for. We would be better off giving a mid-major like Marshall a chance. I'm so against Brey, that if I knew for a fact he would be the next coach, I would have voted to keep Sidney. Fuck Brey.

I would rage hard if we were to get Stevens. That would be more than a homerun hire. However I think Miller is a more realistic by an absolutely insane amount, and its still a stretch to think we'd get him. As much as I like watching March Madness, I want it over to see what we do for a coach.

Brey couldn't even get as far as Herb did (Sweet 16) with what was arguably the best team he's had/is likely to have. He's like a shitty version of Herb. I'm with boozie on this one.

I wouldn't say Smart is garbage, he chose Kenyon over Princeton, Yale and Harvard. So you know he is smart as hell. He is young, which looking at Coach K when he started at Duke, this is good. Duke arguably just played the shittiest game they ever have and still won because Coach K coached his way out of horrible play. Which is why I made the K reference. In time, smart coaches just coach better.

My main concern is that he hasn't been a HEAD coach for 5 years. However, I would not be against him.

I think I am on the Sean Miller train, but he likes the Yankees, so this irrelevant fact about him now makes me like him just a bit less.

I thought we were off the Marshall train because of his attitude?
