Hunter and titan are both 34s now

Knocked out 3 32s and 2 34s tonight. Apparently you can get the Kellslayer armor for each enemy type. Guy I was playing with tonight had the chest piece but it was for vex instead of hive and it had intellect instead of strength. Will be wanting one more 34 and maybe even some 35s tomorrow if anyone's up for it. Bout to knock out some nightfalls

Oh wait, they are 103 Strength which is worse than the 110 Strength I bought directly from Variks the previous week. GTFO

yeah i have gotten 2 of the fallen scout rifles from judgements chance.

but i did get a warlock helmet with discipline instead of strength.

also looks like i will be trying for the purifier robes again this week.

got another armamentarium and the hunter crest of alpha lupi from chest engrams. Will check to see if the roll for arma is better than the one i've had forever.

Did both 35's last night. Got basically nothing out of it except when I ran it with my titan I got two elder ciphers. Still waiting on Variks to call my hunter to the reef so that I can start working on the points I need to finish that cipher

will be on a good bit tuesday/tuesday night running stuff. I'm off work this coming weekend as well, so i'll prolly be on a bit finishing up what I don't get finished on Tuesday. Finally got summoned to Veriks for my Hunters elder cipher. So i will need to kill a bunch of bosses with him in POE so i can get a weapon.

so my understanding is the taken is sort of like the flood from halo only instead of a disease that possesses the dead bodies it's some sort of remote consciousnesses.

So the Fallen can be re-animated, Hive, Vex, or Cabal. and .... why not a Cabal Raid? I guess the cabal race isn't really known for their intelligence so you couldn't really do any tricky puzzles or anything for that raid and that stuff is what makes the vault so awesome.

I'm definitely buying it.

- 3 new subclasses with specific missions to obtain those powers: i have 3 different characters, that alone is plenty of game hours to get those leveled and maximize the new class
- higher light level is rumored to be 50.
- new raid is supposed the longest raid so far full of puzzles and challenges
- more strikes (not to mention all the PS exclusives XBOne never had finally coming to xboxers)
- new crucible maps/game types
- i do love the story of destiny and the potential of them fleshing out more of it is awesome to me. there's a lot of depth within the grimoire which i have a feeling will be brought out because its been one of the main complaints of destiny so far

it's only $40 for the expansion (60/80 if you want all that other shit which i dont). i have roughly 5-600 hours in destiny probably? it's my favorite game of all time imo.

I will say one thing about the current stuff.

They increased legendary drops and allow you to re forge them... So now I have tons of legendary a but really only need 1 of each elemental damage and sub type. So a void arc and solar shot gun sniper etc... And I have all that... But I'll be damned if I don't need 10x more etheric light.

But it's annoying that nightfall dropped weapons aren't at the highest level.

Raid length is cool but my people don't usually get online till 10 so a longer raid means less sleep lol ( I get up at 5 )

i really wish activision would get out of this games way. i just had to watch a youtube video from an outside source (planet destiny) to figure out all the different editions of the taken king that they are releasing and what rewards come with each.

they are treating it like COD which is is not. this game more than any needs players to be on somewhat the same level, with the same activities and they keep splintering the community.

Lol there is an option to buy Destiny, The Dark Below, HoW and Taken King all for $60 but if you just want Taken King it is $40

So day one players = $60 + $25 TDB/HoW + $40 TTK = $125

Players new to game in September = $60
