Dead crowd in Philly two weeks before Mania. That show is going to suck outside of the women's match, the ladder match, and maybe Ambrose/Lesnar.

Meanwhile, the NXT show is going to blow the damn roof off the city.

Matches 2, 6, 7, and 8 I'm a bit "WTF?" While matches 1 and 3 have their own issues for the babyfaces.

This Wrestlemania from a booking point of view has to be considered a complete disaster.

They're also likely to add Brie Bella, Natalya, Alicia Fox, & Paige vs. Tamina, Naomi, Summer Rae, & Evil Emma (w/ Lana), possibly adding a fifth member to Team Bella so that Lana can wrestle as well. I know they're pushing the show out to between 4:05 and 4:20, but all this bullshit is really making me question how long they'll give Charlotte/Sasha/Becky, and that makes me very sad.

The ladder match is an excuse to get those guys on the card, with Ryder taking Neville's place as a reward for having to team with Mojo Rawley. Sin Cara will get murdered halfway through. Another year goes by where the Rhodes don't wrestle each other. I assume Miz is in to be involved with costing Zayn the match and giving him some more exposition and a TV program as he works toward a big one-on-one match with Owens at Summerslam. I really loved the angle with Owens to book this match, as silly as it was. The only good things on the show outside of Terry Funk all involved Owens.

It's not great, but a ton of guys are hurt, especially at the top of the card. Cena, Rollins, Orton, Bryan, Wyatt, Cesaro, Neville, Harper, Sting, & Kidd are all injured.

Here's the lineup:

-Kalisto-Ryback for the U.S. title will take place about 5:30 Eastern and will be a WWE Network exclusive.

-USA is running an hourlong show from 6 to 7 prior to Mania starting. 2 matches will be on it: the Usos vs. The Dudleys, and a 10-women tag team match: Total Divas (Brie Bella, Paige, Natalya, Alicia Fox, Eva Marie...yes) vs. B.A.D. & Blonde (Naomi, Tamina, Lana, Emma, Summer Rae)

Last thing I saw is the Battle Royal will be on the main show, but other places have different information.

I see the Intercontinental Title match opening the main show.

^^ BWW's typically don't do them, but it could vary by individual store. Last time I called one (which was a couple years ago) they acted shocked I would even ask if they were carrying it.

Hooters on Wake Forest showed them a couple years ago before WWE Network is a thing, no clue if they still do. Just call them and ask.

Since WWE Network became a thing I imagine a lot of places that showed them have gotten out of that habit.

Well you started a show at 5:45ish that's going to last until 11:20ish.

What crowd is there is doing the Goldberg chants.

They actually did a fucking commercial segment for a match that is a WWE Network exclusive.

Match early was one large Ryback squash. They gave Kalisto a couple spots at the end where he got a couple nearfalls, but Kalisto pulled off a turnbuckle cover and then Ryback went into it for Kalisto to hit Salina del Sol to retain the U.S. title.

Will be on USA at 6.

10-woman tag match on.

This may be Brie Bella's final match in WWE. It's Lana's first ever WWE match, and we also get the Wrestlemania debut on Eva Marie.

Security entrance for fans is apparently seriously backed up. A lot of the floor seats are still empty.

Paige's breasts seriously trying to come out of her top.

About as bad as you expect. First crowd reaction was Brie tagging in and doing the Daniel Bryan kicks. They teased a Brie Bella-Lana feud, and Brie got thrown off the top rope by Lana when the ref had his back turned. She was able to turn a pin attempt by Naomi around and make Naomi submit to the Yes Lock.

Post-match, Nikki came out to celebrate with the winners.

Lita did an in-ring speech on USA and said the winner of the triple threat women's title match tonight will be the first-ever Women's Champion (revisionist history). So goodbye butterfly belt.



Usos and Dudleys on now. Match was entirely setting up the Dudleys for their big spots, one of the Usos manage to pin D-Von. After the match, Dudleys beat them down and get out the tables. They go to put them both through each and receive twin superkicks. Then both Usos put them both on top of the tables and put them through going off the top rope.

um, Zack Ryder actually won!

Match was a highlight for Sami Zayn.

lot of crazy spots as you expect:

-Sin Cara had his ladder pushed over, did a spot off the top rope to the floor onto 3 or 4 guys, none of which broke his fall all that much
-another Sin Cara having his ladder pushed over spot by Kevin Owens, Stardust was outside laying on a ladder and Sin Cara broke the ladder in half
-Owens and Zayn went at each other top of the ladder. Owens gave him a thumb to the eye, then was taken down to the ring, and Zayn gave him a suplex onto a ladder laying down in the ring, and Owens never moved from there the rest of the match. Ref was talking to him, not sure if he was injured.
-Miz then went up top and was cocky acting like he had this, then Zack came out of nowhere and got the win.

Jericho pinned Styles. Match was allright. Jericho kicked out of a Styles Clash and then did a wacky looking finish where Styles did his springboard forearm spot, and Jericho acted like he hit him with a codebreaker. But the camera angle was such that it didn't look like Jericho even touched him. Not sure why Jericho won.

The crowd booed Bill Simmons.

League of Nations vs. The New Day up next.

League of Nations win the pin. Crowd was dead the whole match. Barrett hit Xavier Woods with a Bullhammer Elbow from outside when Xavier ran the ropes leading to Sheamus winning with a brogue kick.

Post-match, Barrett (who did not wrestle at all, it was changed to a 3-on-3) cut a promo saying 3 men could never go toe to toe with them. Shawn Michaels' music hit. Followed by Mick Foley. Followed by Steve Austin. They came out to take out the League of Nations. Austin was in street clothes but they cleared the ring. Rusev took a Stunner awesome. The other 3 members of the LoN then threw Barrett back in the ring (he's leaving WWE soon) and he took everyone's finisher. New Day then came back in the ring and tried to get everyone to dance. Austin looked bewildered as Michaels and Foley started grooving. He then started shimmying a bit until he gave Xavier a Stunner.

This match sucked. It was psychologically completely screwed up.

-One wrestler never used anything but his bare hands and technique in a wrestling match. He held weapons in his hands but refused to ever use them.

-The other wrestler at every opportunity brought out weapons to use, including a chainsaw to attempt homicide and a bat wrapped in barbed wire.

Now, which one was supposed to be the good guy?

If you answered the former, you'd be wrong. Lesnar vs. Ambrose straight up Lesnar completely dominated, and the only offense Ambrose got was with kendo sticks and chair shots.


Right after, they did have a good spot. Ric Flair was talking to Zack Ryder and telling him to say it. Ryder went "woo woo woo". Flair was telling him to go "WOOOOOOO!" Ryder repeated. Then Flair said "here, have a Snickers". It goes back and it's Charlotte.

Snoop Dogg accompanied Sasha Banks to the ring as Sasha's music was sang live. Charlotte came to the ring wearing the robe her father wore at his last WWE match at Mania.

Likely best women's match they've ever had at Mania, which is a low standard. But they did pretty well, Match of the Night so far. Mid-match Becky Lynch dived onto and took out Ric Flair. Shortly after, Charlotte did a 360 dive from the top rope to the floor onto both women. The women then took turns putting submission spots onto one another. (Charlotte did the Figure 4, and surprise, it didn't work.)

Finish was Sasha had Becky Lynch in a submission, but Charlotte got in the ring and threw her out. Then she put Becky in the Figure 4, and while Ric Flair held Sasha back from getting in the ring, Becky tapped out and Charlotte won.

They're doing Undertaker and Shane now. During Shane's entrance he brought out his 3 sons to do his footdance with him.

The Undertaker match the past few years has just been cliche to me. This is the worst. Undertaker's too old anymore, and they gave him a non-wrestler spot monkey in Shane. Unless Undertaker has reached the "I don't give a shit anymore, just give me a paycheck" mode, why did he agree to this match? He's one of the few guys that have the balls to tell the writers hell no.

Big spot of the match was Shane went to the top of the cage after hitting Taker with a toolbox a few times. Undertaker was laid out on a table and Shane jumped from the top of the cage, Undertaker moved and Shane went through the table. After they laid down a couple minutes, Undertaker carried Shane to the ring and gave him a tombstone piledriver to win.



Shane tried hard and did as good as he can do for his part. It's just more a question of why was he in this position. He got the stretcher treatment going out.

Shaq and Big Show went to choke slam one another after they eliminated Fandango and Damien Sandow, and the rest of the wrestlers then ganged up to eliminate each of them.

Tatanka is in the match for a random blast from the past.

Battle Royal, they quickly went through the ending guys.

Social Outcasts were kind of running wild and did a victory lap. Then everyone stood up and threw them out. Kane and Darren Young teamed up to eliminate Mark Henry, then Kane grabbed Young and Bo Dallas to throw them out. Upon which Baron Corbin sneaked up from behind Kane and threw him out to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Wrestlemania will be on April 2nd in Orlando next year.

Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders came out and did a dance routine to Thunderstruck. And then the Rock came out. It was maybe 4 to 5 minutes until he actually got in the middle of the ring and started talking.

Roman Reigns went to spear Hunter and Stephanie who was in the ring bickering with the referee got speared.

Later on, Hunter got handed the sledgehammer by Stephanie who was down on the floor. Reigns dodged the shot and gave Hunter a spear to win the belt at 11:44pm.

Not a good main event that plodded at points (it's Hunter's trademark!), not a good Wrestlemania.

Last year we get DB winning the IC strap & Cena winning the US strap (love him or hate him he made he relevant for several months).

This year we get Kalisto & Zack F'ing Ryder.

Jericho beating Styles in AJ's first WM was trash. Seriously...what the hell does Jericho do now anyway??

Rock 'puts Wyatt over'...except, he doesn't.

Shano O'Mac takes the L without anyone's help/interference (the wrestlers must like the authority after all). Great story telling there WWE.

Ambrose & Lesnar should have been a blood bath.

And Reigns getting booed out of the building...so bad it was obvious the network was distorting the sound post-match (go back and watch/listen).

Feels like they don't even know what they're doing.

Vince gave Shane control of Raw for one night.

New Day retained the tag titles over League of Nations.

Sheamus got pissy and they beat up Barrett to kick him out of the group. Crowd sings him "nanana heyheyhey goodbye".

Then the lights went haywire, Wyatts were in the ring, and they destroyed the remaining members of the League of Nations.

Vince left in a limo saying the show would be a disaster, but it's only temporary and he wanted to not be associated with it.

Summer Rae cut a horribly acted promo. Then she lost to Sasha Banks in a couple minutes.

Apollo Crews debut next. He squashed Tyler Breeze.
