ok so, she put a semi-perm color on to hide the pink and to help my hair get to all one uniformish color. it's not the color I wanted but it'll do for a week or so until I can get back in the chair and get the original I wanted. I'm a little bummed out but it will be the way I want it soon :/

this may be odd to some of you, but I haven't washed my hair in a week and it is still awesomely soft and decent looking. I was worried that with the moroccan oil it would be gross faster, but it is actually the opposite.

I'm looking for a fun, sexy bra and panty set with matching robe for the wedding night. Besides the obvious VS, where in the Triangle should I look?

believe it or not Dillards has a nice selection. when we were looking for the flower girl dresses we stumbled upon the lingerie area and they had some really nice stuff.

are you doing a bachelorette? my friends threw me a lingerie party with my bachelorette and i got a lot of nice stuff.

I have had great luck at H&M for really cute lingerie. It's not built to be a daily wear kind of bra/panty set, but it's cute, and cheap. You could get your entire honeymoon stocked for $100. Forever 21 is the same kind of way.

I also like Dillards. I like them more than VS as a general rule, but unless their running a special, prices can be higher. Any department store is going to have a good selection of bridal lingerie.

I'd rather go ahead and pay for the cute bra I can wear more often. Especially with fashion being where it is right now. Sometimes your bra is going to show....might as well be pretty.

So I will check out Dilliards for the wedding night, and maybe hit up the cheap stores for the honeymoon.

Cass, I do not like having other people pick out mah clothes. I am way too picky

So if I get some waxing down the morning of the 8th of November, will I be good to go on the 10th? Then we'll leave for the Caribbean on the 16th and stay through the 24th. Can I expect to remain fairly smooth? The only waxing I've ever done on the regular is my eyebrows. Please guys, I have a match!

What kind of waxing? A brazilian? You should be fine from the 8th through the 24th, unless your hair grows REALLY, REALLY freakishly fast. Hair follicles take 2 to 3 weeks to become visible again.

A few rules:

1) Use HARD WAX! Do not go for soft wax with strips. Trust me.
2) Make sure NOT to shave for a week or so prior to your wax. You need at least 1/4 of hair for the wax to adhere. Longer is preferable.
3) DO NOT work out for 24 hours after waxing. You'll probably break out.
4) Bring tweezers on your cruise just so you can take care of a couple of strays here and there.
5) Consider purchasing Tend-Skin, which can prevent ingrowns.

If you have other questions, feel free to ask.

I know very few people have the issues that I did, but I would seriously recommend getting waxed once a few weeks in advance to make sure you aren't prone to any gross skin issues. I have gotten folliculitis every time I have gotten a bikini wax (I think 3; never again) and that is not something you want to risk on your honeymoon. I did all the things you're supposed to do. Apparently some people just have skin that doesn't agree with waxing very well (or so I was told. I don't want to do it again for multiple reasons, so I haven't looked into it much more).

And then my hair started growing in like 3 days afterward because I'd only grown it out for like 8-10 days. The lady said you need to grow it for 3 weeks or something to make sure all your hairs are grown. Maybe I just had bad luck.

Agreed! Definitely try it out sometime PRIOR to the big event, at least 3 weeks out.

I have really great skin, but right now I look like a teenager. I've broken out on my chin and temples. I think that it might be caused by the Sleek & Shine oil that I've been putting on my hair. I don't know why I'd be breaking out on my chin, but the zits at my temple are pretty suspect. Anyone have this problem when using an oil product on their hair? What can I do about it? I really like how the oil tames my hair, but I do not like looking like an acne prone teen.

wash your hands really well after using the oil product in your hair and try not to touch your face. If it's the oil product the most likely way it's getting to your chin is your hands. Also, if you use makeup brushes and the like, wash them really well too and do your makeup prior to using the oil product in your hair.

but then again what would I know? I'm just a stupid bitch whose hair is going to fall out.

Hey, now. Don't put words in my mouth, I never said you were a stupid bitch. Just that your hair is going to fall out.

Yeah, *if* it's the oil doing it, I figure that the breakout on my chin is from my hands. I don't know what I can do about my temples/hair line.

is it like a spray? I use Moroccan oil so i just pour some on my fingertips and apply it and can avoid applying too close to my face. if it's a spray just put a little bit on your hands and run it through so you can control where it's applied.

No, it's not a spray. I think I'm getting transfer at my hair line directly from my hair because I have a bob that frames my face.

argan oil by itself can be used as a skin moisturizer, does the sleek and shine spray have any silicone or "cones" in it. They could be the culprit.

Skwinkle: Pair skinny jeans with boots, peep-toe heels or sparkly flats for going out. You can really wear any type of top. I like long, skinny tanks with fun embellishments, as well as simple, fitted sweaters.

LunaK: Love the boots! I say they're a yay. Ideeli?

I just got 2 pairs of leather boots and a pair of leather shoes from ideeli. Love them!

Here's where you're doing it wrong. The balance between the skinny isn't happening here. You shouldn't have everything fitted when wearing skinnies (even if you are a skinny bia). Not saying wear a potato sack, but they look better when the proportions are more balance.

Swink you've been pinning a lot of great looks....use those as inspiration chick
