I just saw the Lana/marriage episode. A little sappy, but I thought it was pretty good. However, I tire of people switching good/evil roles - was getting used to Lionel being nice, but now not sure what his game is. Maybe he's looking out for Clark in a longterm sort of way, but his threat to Lana needs to be explained in some way.

I'm gonna just make a guess that Chloe's ability will reveal itself near the close of the series, and that she somehow takes a bullet for Clark, effectively removing her character from the future Superman storyline.

I will give them some credit for tonight's episode. I mean, I almost had leather-clad lesbian action and metahumans in one sitting--that's damn near perfection for me.

1. Get rid of Lana--and the damn barn scenes!

2. Give us a new villain. I vote for Braniac--Darkseid or Doomsday would almost surely require Clark to don the suit.

3. Start developing the Clark-Lois relationship--and PLEASE soften her badass routine. It's [OLD]!

4. More heat vision!

5. More fights--and make them more violent and powerful (they did a little of that tonight).

6. Where is Bruce Wayne?

7. Where is Diana Prince?

8. More JLA, dammit!

Batman is a no go because of Batman Begins
Wonderwoman is the same because of the script for the movie is being written.
Clark actually using Heat Vision in a fight would just make too much sense
They're still in Smallville, by all mythos he should still be going after Lana
They tried to get more JLA, but schedules were hard to work out

JLA - more of them would be great...they have to be able to fit some if not all in some
Heat Vision in a fight - I guess it makes too much sense to show clark using his powers
Chloe - Def going to die before near end of series in order to save clark and allow him to grow

^I don't have HD...and its still good to me. Not much of a TV person, and I have to have stories that I can feel connected too...Decent Action, plot flows regularly, keeps the main characters around, introduces good guest characters....good show

How long can Clark continue to be so closely involved with illegal activities (basically every week, the po' have to question him about the crimes/criminals that he busts) and no one seems suspicious (I know they had an episode about this a while back)? Then there's the whole Lana-getting-knocked-out-thing that's as bad as the thing about extras on Star Trek. Plus, Clark, for being as old and supposedly as mature as he is, is a big pussy. I know this is the producers trying to cater to the teeny-bopper crowd, but they should throw caution to the wind, and actually write some decent, compelling dialog (the original X-men cartoon was way better, as far as writing goes).

This show is in squarely in the category of mindless entertainment with some occasional eye-candy. This is reason enough to watch it, if that's what you're looking for, but the show could be a ton better.

^The show could be a hell of alot better, but none of the creators directors seem to realize it. But as for comic strip tv shows, its one of the best right now.

My post earlier talk about how much of a pussy Clark is. I have come to ignore the Lana hospital/barn scenes...I was rather tired of those scenes after first 2 years.

I actually hope they end the show this year...have not heard anything about it, or looked it up but I am hoping they go out with a fucking bang and let Clark be bad ass, let chloe die an honorable heroic death, Lois not be a bitch, and Lana...well prob be in hospital again...

But yeah, it is rather mindless entertainment, and it meets my comic-strip fix.

next new episode isn't until april 19th. i hate these month long gaps btw new eps. once it picks back up on the 19th though, there will be 5 new eps straight till the end of the season. the last episode is called "Phantom." I assume this will be the last of the phantoms clark has to fight, and of course, the most powerful

it would be silly to take a bullet for someone who cant get touched by bullets. and i dont thing she will die anytime before the end of the series, maybe in the very last episode.

also with the fighting against another krypto, wouldnt he have most of the same powers as Clark, such as super speed, etc, making their abilities cancel each other out for the most part making it a reg. fight?
