Wtf. I called the box office a few days ago about the Subway Stretch Packs, and they told me they had tons of them left in the upper corners, and you could even get like eight seats in a row if you needed them. We were going to go down there tomorrow to buy some, but now I look on the website and see that it says they are sold out.

my theory is that whenever someone calls the box office, they lie to them about availability, so that when they go up there to buy them, they are all like "well we came this far, not gonna go away empty handed" and then buy higher-priced tickets

yeah the USA will make the quarterfinals based on the fact that latvia and kazakhstan can't buy a win - and from there it's an eight-team playoff for the gold

we could do some damage there, too, if we ever learn to finish goals - so many chances in this tournament, but so little results

BTW, here's the Rick Nash goal that was waved off because the video replay was inconclusive...apparently they should've used the still camera replay:

i still think they are looking at a 1st rd loss unless they make a solid D acquisition

While I agree to a certain extent, the Laviolette gameplan is to keep pressure on the puck and play D by committee when needed. I can't think of any available D-man worth giving up something we have for...who would you suggest?

P.S. Babchuk is a beast and should be playing every game ahead of Tver.

we have a lot of young parts that could easily be expendable, we have plenty to offer a team like phoenix or st louis or pittsburgh or florida

mebbe van ryn from florida or possibly jackman from stl (possibly giving him a change of scenery would be good)

No one ever said they would all be televised. All of the AWAY games will be televised. Although, all of the home games will be televised except for the one Wdnesday against Boston and the Wednesday March 29th game against the Capitals.

Well, it was probably Tripp then. And you know you have to find a secondary source for anything that dude says.

Carolina 4, Boston 3. Another third period comeback win. Just 4 more wins and they will break the franchise record set by the Whalers in 86-87.

Dear Canes,

You're allowed to have five skaters on the ice plus the goalie. When the goalie is gone, you can have six.

Please to keep this in mind.

Love,

I have no problem with Eric Staal for the Hart but I would have to say that Brind'Amour has been more of an MVP to this team.
