I'm just wondering how you'll be able to move all of your stuff from one HDD to the bigger one. I mean, yeah, there's some sort of cord, but I don't see myself using two systems to transfer my data. Maybe I don't want to pay $300-500 for another system. Hopefully, they will address this issue. I want the bigger hard drive because I never really want to worry about running out of space.

Anyway, I'll get my 360 in a day or two back from the repair center, and I'm going to keep my eye on my system.

it is called making money. most machines upgrade at some point. im not gonna be pissed cuz i didnt get to upgrade to a slim ps2 without buying a new one. im not gonna be mad that newer systems come with packed in games i didnt get. the hdmi would be nice, but it isnt enough to truly anger me and if i really want a new HDD i'll buy it (sure the price is bad, but thats called business...plenty of companies have been doing it for...well pretty much forever).

if you dont download every arcade game, rip a lot of music, or use the movie system the hdd isnt really that big of an issue either. ive got 4 or so arcade games, a bunch of arcade demos, and my savegames and dont even use half of the hdd.

^^ im sorry, im not gonna be made at a company for making a proprietary add-on. it is just dumb to do so. sometimes it is a dumb move and isnt utilized as much as the company would like (read UMD movies, nintendo wireles adapter, etc) and sometimes it makes perfect business sense. the HDD was a big selling point for the xbox and they might as well capitalize on it.

we all know that video game hardware isnt the most profitable venture, so im not gonna whine that they wont let me connect my choice of cheap hardware. should we also be angry they dont let you choose any computer-compatible headset, controller, flash drive, etc?

I would be, but you might have the money to throw around on this kind of stuff. Why should I be forced to buy a special headset just to use on Live if I already have a headset for other reasons (computer / cell-phone / etc).

I don't care if a gaming company loses money every time they sell a console. I am a consumer, therefore I am only concerned about what the best deal for my money is. I do not have to answer to share holders. I am not arguing it isn't a good business move for them, but to not be angered as a consumer is the wrong reaction imo.

and my stock headset works just fine, are you holding your controller as far from your head as humanly possible? even doing that, it may not present a problem.

well, good moves with GRAW and Fight Night. burnout was good, but not as good as 3. that said, id highly recommend Gears of War, Dead or Alive 4 (if you like DOA), Call of Duty 3 for good multiplayer and decent single player.

saints row is good if you need a gta style fix for a while and dead rising is great but kinds on the short side.

see i still disagree with you toch on 2 counts.

1) i want there to be incentives to continue to make these products. the more money they make, the more likely they are to come out with newer and better stuff. if i dont really need something i wont buy it, but if it is worth 180 to someone, then let um sell it.

2) i can choose to be a pissed off consumer or i can decide to understand that it is business and get on with my life. just because im not a major shareholder or responsible to one, doesnt mean i cant understand the reasoning behind decisions (and thus not be outraged).

I guess the thing that bugs me is that now it seems they are purposely putting out incomplete projects just so they can nickel and dime us later

At least with halo 2 the map packs were eventually free

Now CoD comes out, and just a few weeks later they already have a $10 map pack online. Couldn't they have included that in the game? They were obviously sitting there already complete...how much more money do you honestly need to make? (yes, a stupid question I know)

I got Guitar Hero II about 1:00 this afternoon at the Best Buy on Glenwood. They had several copies stacked one on top of another. I'll be able to play it tonight since my XBOX is coming back today. oh man 19 kills 7 deaths as antiarmor. only 3 tank kills. our team was down by 2 and still won 5-0.

i was in a tank, guy shot a rocket at me. i hopped out, killed him with the pistol and then punched the medic in the head while he revived him. so fucking terrible, but hilarious. best game ever.

i play guitar for real, the way they have the notes set up going up and down the 5 frets resembles it sorta but its not like playing a real guitar. you'd just have to try it...i always end up wanting to pick more than you have to you in the game

if you're having trouble picking too much, try upping the difficulty. on expert the strumming lines up more with the actual song, in that you typically have to strum all the notes you hear in the song, so you're less likely to strum too much.

last night it was 0-0 and we were losing by points BIG TIME. i smoked out the axis base, grabbed the flag, and on the way out, i killed 4 people with 2 rifle grenades after dropping the flag. and after all of this, 2 germans spawned RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, but they took off running towards our base, and i followed them until they slowed down and beat BOTH of the down with the flag, and scored with 15 seconds left

was it really laggy for you last night? i got dropped out of half the games i played. perhaps just bad hosts. also wehnever i melee'd i was getting this really long recock/refresh and got killed a ton that way (automelee + slow recock or trying to reload).

Its fun but the sliders need a lot of tweaking, I think I've got them down pretty good tho

You have to make all the CPU sliders near the top and slide yours down to the bottom

Or else you end up winning a bunch of 12-1 games
