alright, so when playing on domination on pipeline, if you start at "A", sprint all the way to the right, and right when you reach the opening to "C", throw a grenade at "C", I ALWAYS get at least one kill right off the bat, if not 2 or more, I got 5 once.

Then jump up on top of the middle building and help your team capture "C"

I prefer jumping in the tunnels at A and sprinting to the B exit but backtracking to C to take out the enemy from behind. Usually get at least an airstrike and do it all with the gun so I have 'nades to play with still.

i went 25:3 last night on Crash. That is quickly becoming one of my favorite maps. I was 16:0 before I died my first time. I probably should have died after 7 to call in more air strikes and helicopters but I was on such a role I didn't want to give it up.

This was on Team Deathmatch and was probably my most solid performance in the last month

I'll never be going for long streaks anymore. I get aggressive and wreckless after 7 to grab an extra kill and die so I can start the bonus cycle. When I get a kill streak of more than 10 I feel like I am wasting time.

^ does the unplayable disc error happen to all your discs? I tried to play halo 3 yesterday and I got that error, but all my other discs work fine. But Halo has always worked before and I just received a new xbox through warranty so Im a little suspicious.

I went 35 - 2 on overgrown in Hardcore Team Deathmatch yesterday. The best I have ever done.

I have been struggling this prestige with the G3. Seems like it always takes 3-5 bullets to kill people (even with stopping power). I'm a lot more accurate with the M14 when quick-triggering in CQC.

I agree that no scoping with the g3 is tougher, but my game is more about longer range attack, so the lower recoil on the g3 works better for me

and I always pair the g3 with stopping power and deep impact

usually one in the leg and one in the chest'll do it, and head shots tend to just happen on the regular

btw what sensitivity level do u guys use?? Is higher always better?

What is weird is i was using "high" for a while on my 20" TV but when i switched the HD 58" TV my new roommate has i had to move back to the setting below high. You think it would be the other way around.

Between Medium and High on a 42". Gona try one setting higher for a bit. It is nice to have when doing CQC maps but damn near impossible when sniping to have high sensitivity.

^thats the one where you start off on the Barrett taking out Zakarov or whatever right? my advice is once you shoot him and repel down the wall, and you have to run down the street, stay to the far right near the buses...shoot a couple enemies and toss some flash bangs and try to run through the buses...i think theres a checkpoint right ahead

oh you mean over by the chopper and ferris wheel where you're carrying the captain? yeah its tough...set a bunch of c4 around the concrete barriers and ticket booths...lay down in the farthest right ticket booth...when the chopper arrives, blow your c4 and make a run for the captain...once you pick up the captain, you cant be killed by bullets

^to add to your point, another thing that helped me was to set McMillian down before you reach his little flashing resting place. You can't go too far from him or he'll die, but you can pick him up and set him down wherever u need to. This gives you time to set claymores where the enemies always come from (back left corner, bottlenecks like the concrete barriers and the pickett fence, also a few yards from where the helicopters drop soldiers off (they always run to the same general area.) C4 is also key, as u mentioned. I found it useful to stick a pack on each car, then the explosions were magnified.

Unfortunately for me, the game has a checkpoint when I was having to run around the picnic area towards the white fence, so basically when I start the game up all of my mines have been set off and I have to kill a few guys.

I'm going to keep trying though, it's just frustrating that I can be lying prone, in grass, behind a building and the soldiers from the helicopter know exactly where to throw a grenade, lol

^^yeah that way you can effectively get double claymores and double c4...set the captain down before you get to the blinking spot and set up all your c4 and claymores...when the captain has been set in the glowing spot, he'll replenish those and you can set all the new ones

I think i'm finally starting to slowly get better at this game, but man if it doesn't have a learning curve on it when you come in this late

and I can't even begin to count how many of my deaths are because someone either spawns behind me or I run out of a door and someone is just camping beside it

But then again I hate team based and only play Free for All, so what can I expect, lol

what I hate is dying within 2 seconds of respawning, but I'll tell you it's a lot better than waiting 7 SECONDS to respawn and then spending a minute just trying to find some action

that is my biggest qualm of the game. I have had some rediculous spawn deaths including

-Being stabbed 0.5 seconds after reappearing after spawning behind a n00b who is running w/ a op-for running up from behind to actually stab him.

- Spawning to be instantly killed by some dude who is just spray and praying a wall that my teammates are behind.

- Spawn dying 3 times in a row, once of the times b.c i appeared during the middle of a airstrike.

- Spawning to hear the clinkity-clank of a grenade land in front of me.

- Spawning in CQC right in front of an enemy player.

- Spawning consecutively w/ my n00b teammates who let themselves get pinned into the op-for spawn area on Strike as marines pinned us down form both the courtyard and market.

Just won my first FFA this morning on showdown, 25-15 with second place at 18-15

I guess it makes sense, I'm just a little surprised how often people just camp in FFA

but, I guess that's true across the board in all FPS games

I just switched from xbox to ps3 and all of a sudden i am hardly ever winning rounds, my k:d is about the same, but it seems like every single time my teammates become pacifists.

and a headset doesn't come with a ps3, so most people don't have one

I had been playing on xbl with 2 brothers (one very good, I'm talkin 51-7 type of good, and one pretty good) and a few other friends who were decent to good. Then my xbox broke 2 times in 2 months and I got fed up and got a ps3, now the 2 people I know with a ps3 are playing with me, and they suck major ass

For NFITWR on vet, flashbangs are your friend, don't be afraid to go prone when it comes to the part where you can choose a left or right "tunnel" to go through. When it comes to your teammates, the more you move forward, the better they do. Don't be afraid to toss a FB and charge up, much like "Mile High Club." On that same note, if u think NFITWR is tough on vet, wait till you try Mile High Club on vet... insane!
