So does Army finally break a 10 game losing streak to Navy on Saturday? I say no, but they did beat Air Force, so who knows. It would be cool to see them get the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.[Edited on December 7, 2012 at 1:06 AM. Reason : .]

GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!

Army are some fumbling motherfuckers

There is crying in football
12/8/2012 6:30:10 PM
that was the most fundamentally sound high school game I've ever seen(but for real though, sucks for Army)[Edited on December 8, 2012 at 6:39 PM. Reason : dudes know how to tackle]
12/8/2012 6:35:21 PM
I hate it for that Army QB. The only team I'd ever wish that kind of thing on is Carolina.
12/8/2012 6:48:05 PM
Damn, I feel bad for the Army QB. He was 15 yards away from the Comander-in Chief trophy and a trip to the White House. Now he finishes his career 1-7 in the academy triangular.

Manziel wins heisman. Glad they got it right.
12/8/2012 9:03:59 PM
love that the white QB's from the 90's who won it look like accountants instead of athletes
12/8/2012 9:06:07 PM
Te'o deserved it more. he's the undisputed best player on the best defense in the country. if he was at bama or LSU he would have won. he's not some defensive fraud like mathieu was last year[Edited on December 8, 2012 at 9:08 PM. Reason : .]
12/8/2012 9:08:18 PM
Manziel wins the Heisman by leading his team to a BCS bowl!!!O WAITWhat a joke
12/8/2012 9:10:45 PM
The new fad for the Heisman is that its just an award for the most exciting fast qb.
12/8/2012 9:28:09 PM
What happened to the army QB?
12/8/2012 9:31:35 PM
Fumbled the ball with the QB/FB exchange at the Navy 15 yardline.

Service academy football is fucking terrible. Only slightly better than lingerie football.
12/8/2012 11:04:01 PM
i'd rather watch lingerie football than any non-ncsu ACC football

^^^It isn't the highest skill level, or the most exciting offense, but I think the tradition and rivalry aspect of it is cool. Once conference expansion is over the acedemy triangular will probably be the only rivalries and tradition left in college football.

Lattimore's entering the draft:http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/football/ncaa/12/10/marcus-lattimore-south-carolina-nfl-draft.ap/index.html?sct=hp_t2_a4&eref=sihp
12/10/2012 2:43:45 PM
^ Lattimore will be lucky to have a 5 year NFL career considering the way Spurrier used him during his time at SC. And that 5 year prediction assumes he gets back to 100% from that knee trainwreck he suffered.Let's hope Bernard is not a complete idiot and puts his name in as well. No reason at all for him to come back to UNC unless he thinks he has a shot at the Heisman.
12/10/2012 4:04:45 PM
I don't see how drafting him high is a risk at all after watching Thomas Davis and Adrian Peterson all yeartotally realize that it's a different injury, but knee surgery/recovery in 2012 is fucking amazing
12/10/2012 4:25:24 PM
^^ Eh, I'm sure the cheaters can give Bernard plenty of reason$ to stick around...just ask Greg Little and Marvin Austin.[Edited on December 10, 2012 at 4:27 PM. Reason : an extra ^]
12/10/2012 4:27:05 PM
Mel Kiper said today that Glennon could be the first QB off the board in the draftthis is the same guy that hyped Jimmy Clausen as a cant miss prospect.....even after 32 teams passed on him and about 20 of them did twice
12/11/2012 1:36:16 PM
Glennon's agent must've paid Kiper

12/12/2012 11:35:02 AM
^^^eh, who's better that'll be in the draft? Not to say MG is on the level of previous "first off the board QBs" it speaks more to the overall weakness of QBs in this class.
12/12/2012 12:05:31 PM
^^^^^I don't think Bernard can go pro. Isn't it 3 years out of HS? He's a true Soph.
12/12/2012 12:29:02 PM
he's a redshirt sophomore....
12/12/2012 12:32:49 PM
Ah, you're right. I was relying on something a UNC fan told me...lying bastard.

12/13/2012 1:56:34 PM
^^ key word there is could
12/13/2012 2:55:38 PM
Does anyone here think Glennon will be a good pro? I struggle to see it. Marginal athleticism aside, he just seems a half second slow with his reads compared to the other guys. Best case is a poor man's Flacco, but I think its more likely he ends up in the Rosenfels/Henne tier.
12/13/2012 3:04:57 PM
Agreed. Love me some Glennon, but I can't see him as anything but a career back up.
12/13/2012 3:36:13 PM
agreedhis stock level has way more to do with the awful QB class than his potential as a pro. his ceiling isn't very high
12/13/2012 3:39:54 PM
I'd take career back up
12/13/2012 3:55:13 PM
I didn't till we leaned more heavily on the naked bootleg.
12/13/2012 5:22:59 PM
If Glennon ended up starting somewhere....that would give NCSU 3 starting QBs in the NFL... pretty good I say
12/13/2012 5:29:07 PM
he can make all the throws
12/13/2012 5:52:57 PM
but can he guard the center
12/13/2012 6:25:28 PM
I think I made about $200-$300 from betting on GT games this year.]

another in the annals of "Pre-season predictions are a fucking joke"http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/football/ncaa/08/29/preseason-crystal-ball/index.htmlpay special attention to the title game participants and Corey McCartney's predictions for sleeper and bust./laugh
12/26/2012 3:12:23 AM
I hope Glennon has a great career, but I cannot imagine him being anything but a big armed backup that sticks in the league for 3-4 years. The NFL has changed so much in the past few years and mobile QBs are changing the game rapidly. I'd like to see him on a team like Arizona where he has a superstar to throw to.
