Yep. Baking soda mix is in a spray bottle and acv is in a squirt water bottle, and I just put that on the ends.

Right now I am washing every other day. I might try going two days soon. I have to work up the courage to do that

Swimsuit trends for 2013. Let us talk about them. I want some cute tops to go with my bum covering skirts.

I don't know. I'm not very trendy usually, but I am hoping there is something fun out there that will take attention away from my butt.

before my first wash (January 14th was my last shampoo at the salon)

I did the baking soda wash with a few drops of Dr. Bronners liquid soap (lavender) just for a nice scent
and the acv rinse* last night and here is a picture from this morning

my hair didn't feel as soft after the acv like everyone says it would but it wasn't terrible like it could be, just not "conditioned" like it feels after I slather it with lots of conditioner but my comb went through it with only a little snagging at the end but nothing to think about. I'll wash it again on Saturday.

*I have to think of a better way of getting the baking soda and the acv into their little bottles, it was such a mess to do

What kind of bottles are you using? You could make a little funnel cone out of aluminum foil.

little 8oz squirt bottles I found in the travel size section of target. they kinda look like little fuel belt bottles with the same kind of spout

good idea on the foil funnel cone, I'll try that.

I think I love almost every pair of earrings on this page:

and almost every necklace on this page:

Even this thing:

Modcloth makes me drool, but their clothes make me nervous. I have some things I love from their, but nothing is ever exactly what I expected.

GREEN JAY i noticed that no one told you how gorgeous your YSL scarf is so let me be the first to say: OMG DO WANT. I am obsessed with scarves and wear them all year long.. nice puffy heavy ones in the winter and light airy cotton in the summertime.

my friend just gave me this beautiful vintage YSL scarf, and now I wanna now where to get some (new) beauties.

Oh and I rarely go to a store with the intention of buying a scarf.. I usually just come across them and fall in love. One of my favorite prints is a summer one I got from COACH with matching ballet flats-- I just pair it with a black t-shirt and skinny jeans. I'll take a pic and post it here later

it had been a year since i got my hair cut.

lady said it was so long that if i had waited a little bit longer, i could've donated it to locks of love.

i never thought i'd get it that long.

check to see if they have some bad reviews on yelp or whatever first, hah. and make sure they don't have old crappy machines. Lightsheer duet is the best.

egy, when I was in vegas, I saw a Hermès window that was all giant scarf prints... so beautiful!

FYI and for others making a big cut: It only takes 8 inches to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths whereas Locks of Love is 10.

I'm so glad someone brought up Beautiful Lengths. I'm planning to donate to them once I can find a good hairdresser/salon in either the Pinehurst area or Wilmington. I've read that all wigs made by them are 100% donated to cancer patients/survivors vs Locks of Love that often sells their wigs.

Yep. My friend and I donated in September to beautiful lengths and she signed up to receive a letter when her hair was used. She just received it last week. I wish I had done that, but I figure my hair has probably been used or will be if she just got her letter.

i wonder if they send you one that tells you when your hair is too gross or 1/4" too short and they sold it to be made into L-cysteine supplements

I'm super vain now, and I want to update all my products. But I'm also thrifty so I feel like I have to at least use up what I already have. I've slathered myself in gallons of Olay/Aveeno, but there's still so much left.

I washed mine last night :-/

My head was itchy. I am not sure if that was from the natural oils doing their thing, or from the baking soda, or what, but it was starting to bother me. My hair feels a lot more limp today (so back to the way it used to be). I don't really like that now that I know the alternative, but I also don't want to be perpetually itchy. I am skipping a wash today and going back to baking soda tomorrow. I am thinking maybe I will shampoo every 2 weeks or so and do baking soda every other day in between. Not sure if that messes up the spirit of the no-'poo lifestyle but whatever.

my scalp gets itchy usually on the day i need to wash my hair (3rd or 4th day). i think it has to do with the oils.

I want the skirt not the top. It has pockets. Needed for my insulin pump!

I will hopefully get the dress.

I like this one, too.
