^^^^^I wasn't even accusing it of you cause more than one person did it. It was a general thing.
It has happened at a few other places I have played at the last few weeks. So its more of a pet peeve over the weeks and last night it happened too. That makes it like 3 different places that this has happened. If I am in the hand I usually say something, but since it isnt my table I didn't cause I wasn't involved. I was surprised last night you also did it cause you are a stickler at my house.

I told them last night I wasn't coming back.

Of course, I would still take that call you made. It really didn't tick me off- its poker. I mean out of 100 hands of that nature I will win more money from it then the A-6. I was just wondering if anyone would have raised and let the flop come out before going all in. Since it was really loose I figure if I had doubled it 1 or others would have called.

I am the poker bitch, I believe other people have the name poker goddess.

haha yeah I was shocked I kinda did it too...

But that table was very very informal and so I guess I just slipped in to the groove.

Sorry for sucking out on you though. I guess it's your turn next time.

here's my story

on wed. we were playin 1/2

i had about $60, im to the right of the button.

first to act (a loose player) makes it 7 to go, 2nd calls, fold fold, I look down at (6h, 6d)

I know the first 2 are weak and in position I raise to 21

fold, fold

Big blind looks down and has (Qc, Qs) and after thinking for like 3 min, goes all in (has me covered)

UTG folds, 2nd UTG folds

so there is $96 in the pot, the guy had been raising big with A9 sp and hands like that, so i go in the tank, i have 39 bucks left, to win 96 so i was about 2.5:1. I call my last 39.

he turns over the queens, im like fuck, but i knew i was fucked. flop comes K 10 7, turn 5, river 6

I win. He bitches, rightfully so, after a raise, call and re-raise, though I guess he did what he had to.

In retrospect, I dont believe i played that hand well, but I made the right call at the end. My mistake was the 21 bet, had I just called the 7 and if he had gone all in, I would have folded in a second.

Its not often enough people talk about mistakes in this thread, it seems to be a bit too much whining and bragging

the 21 bet was a bit strong, i probably would have just called and looked to pump or dump.

i see why you made it though, you just ran into an unfortunate situation.

im just a big fan of slow playing small pairs looking to set up.

thats dangerous to your opponent.

i HAve a hand from Wednesday too since Boobs shared:

1/2 NL

I was the dealer look down to see A-10 suited.

2 callers
I call
SB call
BB makes it 10 straight

fold
fold
I call
sm blind calls.

Flop: 8c 6s 2c
sb checks
bb makes it 10
me: I call feeling like he had high cards and was trying to take it down there.
sm calls (I was like...he is on a draw. He was screaming draw)

turn:8s
sb: all in 24 dollars
bb folds
I was thinking I felt he was on a draw on the flop, 8 didn't make one possible so I called.

river: ace

I get a you have to bee kidding me.
I win......turns out the sb had k-q clubs.

Here is a stupid mistake:

I am delt Jd Jh and the first to act raises three dollars, pre-flop. I was down to like around six and the first to act was close to me, but I just called to see the flop, and it was Ac4s4c. At that point, I knew that I had 2 pair but figured that he had an A, but I went all-in anyways. That was a huge mistake, I think that if I was going all in, I should have done it when he bet 3 before the flop.

... He ended up winning with AK

So then the mistake was calling the three dollars, I should have just folded there because AK is a damn good hand to have. I guess it really depends on if he is aggresive or conservative, because a conservative player would never raise that much unless he had something good, or if he had to leave.

actually no

you were slightly ahead in the hand preflop so you were getting correct potodds to call; however, the proper play in your situation is allin or fold.

OUCH, thats the worst bad beat there is.

Take a look at these two idiots I was playing. I can maybe understand the one guy calling me with A10, but thats still pushing it. And I have no clue what the guy with 52 was doing. Both of these guys were playing loose as hell the entire time I was at the table, I reraised so big because I knew they would call me most likely with some bullshit, when they did. I would have been major money if that Ace hadn't hit.

^^haha, yeah it is, the one guy calls a $5 reraise with A high.....then the river puts 4 clubs on the board, which he doesnt have one of, and he calls $4 more with top pair kings. Yeah, there were pot ods, but still, yes....the guy had the best hand between the two at that point, but there is no way in hell and decent poker player makes that call...wait...lets it even get that far. That whole table was a fucking joke. It was by far the loosest I have ever been at. There would be one card to a flush or straight, and one person would bet $2, get raised to $5 and call with high pair. If I could have just caught the cards, I could have made a fucking fortune off these guys. They just kept buying back in when they lost. And it seems to be a recurring theme on Party Poker. Like I said in an earlier post, I have gotten to where I am playing some bullshit hands, like any good cards suited or connecting just so I can hit somethign better than top pair.

At least I cashed, I guess.... $10 multi. I only reraised preflop, rather than try to trap, becuase I had been getting many short ends (I had 32k in chips at one point). But this hurts.

New poll, just wondering how the rest of you would play it....

Situation: You're the button with 6 players remaining in a sit-n-go. The two players in the blinds are tight aggressive. You have 5.5 big blinds remaining, and have been conservative so far.

It's folded to you. You have Q3 unsuited. Do you:

1) Go all-in, you need the blinds and have a good image.
2) Call, trying to pick up a 3-way pot later.
3) Fold, and hope for a better hand soon.

I went all-in for the steal and was caught by the BB, who had AK.

lost with quad 4's to quad 7's yesterday.
one of those freak hands.
4-4-7 7 6
my pocket 4's lost to pocket 7's.
not too much preflop action, and how could i not call.

when things like that happen, i figure just hand them the money, its over.

well. i just had the worst 45 seconds in my online poker career.

4 tabling $100 party nl, 4 sequetial hands.

Table 1 - flop top set on uncoordinated board.
table 2 - flop middle set on uncoordinated board.
table 3 - KK
table 4 - AA

table one - get cracked all in post flop by top pair 9kicker with running flush
table 2- end up all in on the flop vs bottom set who quads up on river.
table 3 - end up all in preflop, turns out ot be against AA. it felt like it, but i dont play that any other way.
table 4 - end up all in preflop against QQ who trips on flop.

feck. pretty good way to make the august reload be pretty inconsequential.
