Yeah I was doing a mission down in the industrial park of Alderney, but it wasn't a chase mission or anything so I wasn't in a rush.

I saw a scantly clad strumpet on the side of the road and figured I would boost my health a little before my mission.

So I pulled up beside her and honked my horn. She just stared at me like a retard watching Thomas the Train.

I was so pissed I shot her in the face, then dropped a grenade on her corpse and drove away.

i havent tried it yet, but my boy says he likes to get in a taxi (as a passenger) and have the driver go somewhere..he will then hit the X button to speed up the trip (but not the A button to completely skip it)...when he is going with a little velocity down the street, he'll drop a grenade in the cab and jump out...he said most of the time the cabbie also jumps out but one time he kept driving and his car exploded a few seconds later

whats teh best way to get away on Tunnel of Death? i dont have a problem taking out the escorts and getting in the truck, but its kind of slow for a getaway

I tried losing the cops on algonquin the first couple of times and couldn't manage to getaway. I finally turned the truck around and went to alderney. I was outside of the circle just as I exited the tunnel and the stars dropped off. If you're already trying to lose them in Alderney I'm not sure what to tell you. Every time I got close to losing them though it was because I made a bunch of turns, because there is no way you're going to outrun them on a straitaway in that thing.

i just got it

at first i tried to go to the end of the tunnel and bust a U-turn to keep the helicopter out of the mix, but i just couldnt quite get out of the circle without the cops getting to me and resetting the center

eventually i went over to manhattan on the highway and tactfully got most of the pursuing cops to hit traffic or barricades, trees, etc...finally got out of the circle...now to finish the mission!

there's a skatepark you can go into on a motorcycle and do flips and stuff. It's not very big, but it's fun to mess around in for a bit. On the map you'll see three piers on the south western coast of Algonquin, it's on the northernmost pier. Motorcycles are the only vehicles that you can get through the opening in the gate.

I walked around and sniped all but 4 of the guys. The trick is staying at 2 stars to make your getaway easier. Just don't go nuts blasting cops and you should be fine.

I killed every cop I saw and got away in that Bobcat outside without using a Pay'n'Spray. But I'm fucking sick at driving the cars so... It did take me like 3 tries to beat it though.

How the heck can you get a knife again? somehow i traded my knife for a bat along the way and i can't find a knife anywhere. the two gun shops i have don't have knives, just bats. i can't be sneaky and kill ppl w/o the knife...

ive finished the basics, etc that gets you 68% finished...now time to cheat and find all the ramps/pigeons that i've missed plus side missions to get 100%

on a side note, i killed everyone on the along (when given a chance to kill someone or let them go free)...i also said fuck you to everyone that screwed me, so i killed dimitri at the end and the other guy from russia

I'm working on all the side missions now. Just started on the races, and I wish I had of known I couldn't blow the other cars up. I was on the last lap of the first race and had already lapped everyone, so I decided to shoot up one of the other cars just for the hell of it. He blew up one marker from the finish line and I was DQ'd. sadface.

Anyone else had trouble with the "Liquidize the Assets" mission? The cops keep getting alerted when I'm picking off the snipers. What's the trick?

I did that too, but once the cops came I went around the east side I believe (I'm not exactly sure of the direction) and hopped up on the roofs. While I was making my way around the compound on the roofs and eventually down a staircase in one of the buildings that lead to the garage in the back of the compound where one of the trucks was parked the Russians and the cops were getting into a gunfight. Once they were fighting each other it was very easy to move through the compound from the back blowing up the trucks. Just bring a stack of 'nades.

this is my personal opinion:
as much as i want the multiplayer to rule (and reviews said that it would) i just cannot stand the deathmatch modes (read: shooting intensive modes). i'm used to precision shooting games like cod4 for my FPS needs, and this is frustratingly nowhere near that. stuff like i swear i'm hitting the guy and it wont register, or people lagging hard, or guns recoiling way too much.
but gta race is great, i love all the stuff that involves vehicles. mafiya work isnt bad (involves cars) and i havent tried the strictly coop mode yet. but i'm not sure i can do deathmatch anymore, it just pisses me off.

you will run into each of these within an hour:
-8 year old getting upset that you are killing him
-new guy that gets excited about things that you have known about for a long time (helicopters, etc)
-"Have you guys seen the heart?"
-Posse joining up and driving in single file at the airport to hit jumps while another guy (hopefully you) is terrorizing them with the helicopter
-and more!

I like driving if I have a nice car, like I have parked outside my safehouses (a total of 2 Comets, 2 Banshees, 2 Infernuses, 1 SuperGT, 1 Sultan RS, 1 Coquette, and 1 Turismo).

But then I won't have the car anymore. So it's a classic case of "can't have your cake and eat it too"
