I believe in Brad's deposition for the custody hearing, he said that Nancy only wanted a BMW X5, white or silver, with the rear climate control package...and that she was willing to wait for it.

But later on, she told her 'new friends' (they weren't around when she didn't have a car) that Brad wouldn't buy her a car.

I believe there has also been testimony that Brad would take the bus to work, and she would use 'his' car for the day before they got her the X5.
