yeah as an Indians fan, I'm not sure how I feel about that move. They really gave up peanuts to get Lowe (a single-A reliever). Hopefully he can continue to be a workhorse and rub off a little on the rest of the rotation. He'll likely be the #4 or 5 starter behind Jimenez, Carmona, Masterson, and possibly one of Carrasco/Huff/Tomlin

the Tribe also declined the option on Grady Sizemore over the weekend, he could be a possible good fit for the Braves.

McLouth was just non-tendered. It's obvious that the Braves don't need a CF who can't hit lefties, can't stay healthy and is consistently flirting with the Mendoza line. Sizemore will get paid a starter money by someone.

apparently the braves are shopping JJ. was looking at the Royals page because they just traded for Jon Sanchez, and there was an article saying the Braves want one of their two OF prospects. Also says Prado could be moved.

^ That deal ain't happening, but the Braves were looking at Cain out of the Royals system. Maybe JJ is hurt more than the Braves are letting on or maybe they think his career has peaked and want to get something for him before he commands a big payday.

Either way with the young arms they have coming up, they obviously feel like he is dispensable and hopefully they'll get good value for him. Trading Prado makes some sense as he has probably already hit his career peak in 2010 and he still has some value. His offensive stats are mediocre for a corner OF. The Braves better have a good 3B option if they trade him though as you know Chipper is going to miss 20-30 games if not more in 2012.

Braves need to get a SS and another OF. If they can fill those holes, watch the fuck out gay ass dirty stinky Phillies. And just for good measure fuck you Hunter Pence.

Exactly. Some clubs probably see him as #2 type pitcher, but he'll never have another run as good as the first half of this year.

Give this team a decent RHB in left and the real Jason Heyward and they'll butt rape the NL East next year.

I haven't really got into the hot stove stuff yet, but are there any decent RHB options for the Braves that can play OF?

Also are there any SS that don't suck complete dick available as trade bait or as FAs? The SS position as a whole has really gone down the shitty the last few years.
