Why do you even watch if the NBA is just the WWE now? Seriously GTFO if all you are going to do is complain about the refs.

Also how is LeBron the biggest bitch in sports? Yeah he over reacts on foul calls, but so does pretty much every NBA player. Watch Ginobli and Duncan make their stupid faces after each whistle.

Never seen them take off running a 40 yard dash. Never seen them skip a press conference after a big game. Never seen them have a decision.

sounding like eric bledsoe, caron butler & deandre jordan could be headed to the celtics for pierce, garnett & doc rivers (could have draft picks involved too)
lots of tweets, so will just cite this article:

What a horrible deal for the clippers. Garnett has 1-2 prosuctive seasons left. Rivers makes 3 yrs $21m which is crazy.

Deandre jordan is a premeire big man just entering his prime and bledsoe is good. It just makes no sense

I would probably love Green if he didn't play for UNC.

Now I just don't dislike him. This is a fun game, btw.

What's remarkable is that SA is only leading by 11. With how well they're shooting and the game they're getting from Ginobli you would think this would pretty much be over already.

yeah I said Parker was in the early running for MVP after game 1 and that crazy shot to seal it, but if the Spurs win the series, Green has to get some serious consideration for Finals MVP

Yes. They play the next 2 in Miami. It seems unlikely that Manu will have another game like this or that SA will continue to shoot 70% from 3 as a team.

That's what they said at halftime too. Looks like Spurs and Green will shoot lights out next 2 games too. Heat better not fuck this up. Lebron's legacy at stake

I know its an unpopular opinion...but Lebron get's a lot of missed fouls when he drives to the basket. He might "get the calls" at other times during the game...but I feel like he's gotten fouled half a dozen times at the rim tonight with no call. That last one being a pretty big example.

In that commercial, he blocks KD

Why can't miami find a person to defend Green? They has been killed by his shots once in game 3.

Yeah, he gets the Shaq treatment in a lot of ways. Contact that would be a foul if you did it to an average player isn't called on Lebron because he's so unstoppable going to the rim.

Manu Freaking Ginobili

Was talking to my pops today about how he needed to step up if the spurs were going to win, love seeing the old Manu again. Hope they put it away in game six so I can rest easy but I don't see it happening until game seven.

^ Still hanging on to his conspiracy theories. Wouldn't make the NBA more money if each game was a nail biter to build more drama? The refs last night clearly were favoring the Spurs. jbrick is right about LeBron not getting calls, especially last night.

Anyway it's bs that game 5 was played in SA. That game should have been played in Miami. The Heat now are firmly against the wall. LeBron, Wade, and Bosh are pretty damn good in elimination games though...

But Miami also can get help from ref when playing at their home court. It's still fair. And they have one more home court yet.

Its not easy for the refs to control a game with that much precision. The nba is not staged or scripted. Its simply manipulated. For instance, the team they want to win could suddenly go cold for several minutes and still lose if they were trying to make it a close game. Its more about the style of officiating from start to finish. Basketball is easy to manipulate over the course of the game without even "cheating" or being "unfair". With that said, there are probably many games where the team they want to win a game still loses.

Are we going to call:
over the back
handcheck
touch shooting fouls
inside body fouls
moving screens
fight for position fouls
charge/block/flop
pushoff/flop

All of those happen pretty much every play. You could theoretically pick ways to call each of them in a consistent way on both ends so the game is "fair" but you still give one team an extreme advantage according to styles, personnel and strategies.

Its been obvious by the 3rd quarter of each game who was going to win. As soon as the team that has the advantage makes the adjustment to the game being called on their behalf, they destroy the other team.

The only way less people tune in is if they know it will be a blowout before the game. Only people like me know game 6 isn't worth tuning in for. The heat being on a rollercoaster makes it that much more of a story for the casual fan. Suspense is built when nobody wins two in row. Since both teams have been winning, people will tune in for the "tight series". Heat will win game 6 by 15-20 points and you will all realize that in the 3rd quarter. I never said they want the Heat to win everygame. They want the heat to have the maximum amount of primetime games. I have no idea who should be winning or who is better because there has just been too much interference to get a read on it. Maybe they will let the 2 teams earn it in game 7 since theres nothing more to milk at that point.

The heat have won every other game for 12 games now. The statistical possibility that this pattern could be due to chance is 1.56% That means there is a 98.34% chance this Heat pattern has been caused by something other than "the teams are just that even".

If the spurs win game 6 I will quit sports talk.

You guys should give credit where crefit is due.

Not only did I take spurs to win title at +800 but im pn record saying Faried and Leonard would both be amazing.

Not only has Leonard carried the Spurs throughout the playoffs he now has the 2nd greatest career average in the nba finals behind only magic Johnson.

Truly one of the most epic performances we have ever seen.

- props to face if the spurs win tonight
- Leonard has played great defense on both LeBron and Wade this series, But I'd describe Green's 3 point shooting as "epic" moreso than Leonard's defense
- again, 2nd greatest career average in... what?

shit, half the time I forget that Leonard even is on the floor. Top 5 player in the league? Dude is barely the 5th scoring option on his own team behind Parker, Duncan, Ginobili, and Green. Hell, he might even be behind Neal in the pecking order at this point.

I think Kawhi is a good player, and could end up being the biggest building block for the Spurs in the future, but to say hes a top 5 player in the league is straight up idiotic

chris paul tweeted about getting a triad news stations contact yesterday.

apparently he wants that ws station to break where it is he is signing or staying.

clippers were stupid for trying to make that trade anyways.

take the old memphis coach and be happy.

now if Bosh and howard were to trade places...things could get really interesting next year.

I'm looking forward to the Joey and Timmy show tonight. Parker will need to score at least 20 and Green/Neal will need to combine for about 35 tonight for the Spurs to win. Duncan will have 3 fouls in the 1st quarter.
