If Clark is really transferring (haven’t seen anything official) then that would potentially open up plenty of minutes for Ross at the 4. Especially with Gantts injury issues (and Gantt just being totally unproductive offensively).

I’m sure we’ll bring in a PG so Pass transferring would make sense.

The amount of players that would need to leave in order to take 6 portal players is never going to happen

Like that would involve i think 5 players not including Joiner (no eligibility remaining) and Dowuona (already officially in da portal) leaving. 6 portalers would mean 8 new scholarship players and i believe we gain 1 scholarship next year that we lost this year as punishment for hiring Gottfried as a coach, so that would mean 7 currently occupied spots would have to be vacant.

As of now we have 3 open spots and I think it's entirely possible 3 of the 5 ?'s above could potentially transfer (or move on). I'd be shocked if we don't lose two of those...that would leave 5 spots open for next year

Ross also looks like a deer in headlights on offense and Gantt's defense/rebounding/size are better. I think he'd be last in line for minutes at the 4/5 with Burns/MHC/Gantt/Miranda and we are likely bringing in another big from the portal anyway. He's probably looking at even fewer minutes than he had this season.

Clark was a good rebounder and a willing shooter but he wasn't a good shooter. Hopefully he will be replaced by someone who can shoot decently

I agree that Ross is raw. More raw than what you’d hope for somebody that’s a rising junior. But he’s not playing the 5 at all. So he can be on the court with Burns or Dusan at the same time. And I’m not sure why Miranda would be ahead of Ross in the rotation. If miranda was any good he’d have played this year.
