Wow, I didn't know Rivals had Randle as the top recruit in the nation.

I thought it was Jabari Parker across the board. I can't even imagine getting a recruit of that caliber.

Right now we're like a rising high school sophomore girl who had a really good personality as a freshman but just wasn't that hot yet.

No one wants to cross us off because we're kinda cool, but everyone's waiting to see if we grew tits over the summer before they're willing to commit to us over the more standard hotties.

All we know for sure now is neither is getting Randle. The Wolfpack had a hook that neither Duke nor UNC had: family connections. Randle and his family are close with Pack freshman guard Rodney Purvis and his mother. So far, that connection, plus coach Mark Gottfried’s pursuit of Randle, has gotten the team this far and just boosted it onto a shorter list."
