So is the site still alive? Doesn't seem like much has been happening recently. I know they dont want to have a message board because that would overlap with tdub too much, but maybe a chat room would not.

Forum with the newest version of vbulliten and lots of extras added would equal the end of all productivity for me

when you add vbulliten you can add a subscription option for custom user titles, more picture storeage, and other horeshit to generate revenue

well to help you i will list the things some users want out of tdub that it does not already feature.

- email notification of thread replies
- custom avatar
- custom signature
- quote button (easy one click quoting)
- able to edit posts without typing a reason
- able to attach images/files to posts
- custom user title (tdub has this but i cant find how to change mine, in vbulliten its under "user cp" easy to find.
- ability to post polls and have users respond and vote
- a total buttload of smilies
- more of the profile listed to the left of each post. (this is an admin customizable feature in vb)

these are just a few options you can install with vbulliten. if you want a website users will return to daily an active and frequently used message board should be an integral part of the marketing strategy. for more information http://www.vbulletin.com/ the thread reply emails keep users comming back all the time and boost ad revenue. not to mention you can limit some upgrade features to subscribers and generate more money to run the site.

i am not dissing crazyweb in any way,shape,form by posting this. crazy web is awesome and serves ist purpose of being bandwidth friendly and not hogging server resources. in a day and age with most users on high speed users demand more. use VB and the sky is the limit on features.

if any of this makes no sense i will clarigy tomorro w cux right now im a litle drunk and botu to go back arcroos st . to the paryt.

a message board is nice in that you wouldn't neccesarily have to come to tdub to discuss WPL... although a chatroom would offer something that tdub doesn't offer me, which is access to real time chat with out NCSUers and community.

cody's a pretty decent guy-- I've talked to him a few times in dealing with IRC... he seems down to earth, non-fratty, and has a friendly personality. Seems like he has a lot of experience on boards and stuff around campus, too.

Better than the fools who waste time trying to impeach someone who's leaving office soon anyway

oh and steal our student tickets

and start resolutions as jokes to make fun of each other

and spend their campaining time running each other down rather than coming up with an original idea to win the election (like someone we know...)
