Some parts of this movie look pretty good, particularly Church as Sandman. When I first heard he as cast as Sandman I was worried, but that picture of him has really reassured me.

However, two parts to this movie look like shit. First is Grace as Venom, which is a travesty regardless of the continuity they decide to follow (616 universe, Ultimate universe or the cartoon). Second, the black costume looks like shit. Jesus Christ, it's like they ran out of budget and just went to K-Mart and bought a can of black spraypaint.

It looks like Spider-Man is going to be on both sides, in his regular outfit on Cap's side and in the Spider-armor on Stark's team. It makes no sense, which is one more reason why I say, "fuck Marvel."

It looks like Cap is sided with Wolverine and Namor, both of which would rather fuck a dog (or Jean Grey's dead corpse) than register in some Super-Hero Act, which implies that Cap is leading the side against the Act, meaning Iron Man is for it.

There are various images featuring splits between heroes, but one in particular shows Spider-Man on both sides: with Cap in his classic outfit and with Iron Man in his Spider-armor outfit. According to Joe Quesada, this is not merely symbolism: there WILL be a Spider-Man on both sides.

doesn't anyone care that having venom in spider-man 3 plus having harry as the new goblin would be too much plot for one movie? anyone? Well, maybe Wraith. Anyway there's a lot more to spider-man than venom. If it becomes a cramjob like x-men 3, that'd be pretty unfortunate. But I don't think Venom is going to be a bad guy in this one. He'll probably just get a cameo at the end.

well I'm talking venom instead of sandman, if thats the case I think its the perfect amount of plot

Parker bonds with the symbiant to protect mary jane from goblin/harry or something but then the new power almost corrupts him to killing harry so he gets rid of it and then it bonds with brock and he has to fight the true evil

sounds perfect to me

edit: hell I'd prob add some real death in there in the form of mary jane and perhaps parker taking revenge and then swearing to never kill again when he casts off the symbiant but I doubt they would want to go that dark
