i got my rank all the way up to the 1 star rank but have only perfected the easiest rank so far...got Perfects on all the Crash modes i think

and the online play is really nice too...the races are fast and bandwidth has never been an issue for me...and the crash mode online is cool too...you're just going against some online opponents instead of the medal $ amounts but its nice

man my 360 ate the shit out of my burnout game...huge scratches around the outside...i took it back though, had paid the 3 dollar replacement warranty fee...anybody's 360 scratched up a game really bad? i had mine sitting vertical when it messed up burnout...madden got messed up when the system was horizontal...oh well, they replaced them free

mine scratched up oblivion lightly, it sitll plays but about every 15-30mins it will say the disk is dirty. it hasnt gotten any worse and DO4 and PD0 are fine (as are some movies i put in there). I don't understand why it was just this one game.

i will admit, the hitman games are not games that encompasses a broad range of gamers. when i very first played hitman 2, i was like, meeeeh. but, after i played though it again, really understood what was going on in the game, and saw just how much the game had to offer, i loved it. basically it is like having three games in one. iow, the first play through of the game could be a stealth mission, the second play through cold be a run'n gun mission, and the third could be a combination of both. there is also a lot of puzzle solving in the game - even certain weapons that you get you will have to solve a puzzle to obtain it. a lot of people just don't give the game the chance that it deserves, which is most likely based on popular consensus that the game is, well, meeeeeh.

id like to try bf2, but i have a feeling (as with all games that have been out a while) that i'll end up in games with asshats who blame me for not playing before.

mechassault wasnt even fun when i tried to play after a year of owning it (figured id try it online). ppl either play random games with their team that practices all the time or whine at you for not being great or understanding every rule. pissed me off.

i had a sickass gaming rig (3.0 processor, 6800gt card, 2 gb ram, blah blah) but i was getting tired of pc gaming and people cheating and the games were the same things over and over. pus i hate playing sports games on pc but 360 is definitely enjoyable. xbox live is addicting (been playing tons of ncaa bball and bf2 online). i forgot fn3 was xbox live but i dont think its that great online.

the demo for Blazing Angels is available to download on live marketplace. its pretty awesome.

i just picked up Fight Night R3 and NHL 2K6. Both are awesome. I have a few issues with FN3 (repetitive as hell commentary and the knockouts are a bit repetitve) but overall its awesome.

NHL is freakin awesome.

blazing angels is meh...feels more like a kids game or something...i dunno, i couldnt get into it. i havent played nhl 2k6 but its probably just as good as nba 2k6 (average).

and im suprised nobody is talking about playing bf2 modern combat on live. its fun as shit and addicting. yeah i had it pc but i just like it better sitting on a couch with a tv than on a pc.

just depends on your preferences. i dont get a ton of play time out of sports games (i just get bored cuz they feel repetitive after a bit). if you plan to play live a bunch, go graw, otherwise oblivion has had me for 40hrs so far and i havent even beaten it.

Here's what pisses me off about the Xbox 360; crappy Xbox emulation. There are quite a few Xbox games I want, but don't feel like buying a used Xbox 1 just to play them (instead hoping that the 360 would eventually support them). So I decided to take a look at which games are compatible and which aren't.

Not compatible: Jet Set Radio Future, Otogi 2, Outrun, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shenmue II, Steel Battalion, Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

Compatible: Army Men: Sarge's Heroes, Barbie Horse Adventures, BMX XXX, Cabela's Deer Hunt 2004, Cabela's Deer Hunt 2005, Cabela's Deer Hunt 2006, Catwoman, Constantine, Dark Angel, Drake of the 99 Dragons, Frogger Beyond, every crappy Harry Potter "game," Kabuki Warriors, Pinball Hall of Fame, Shadow the Hedgehog, Simpsons Road Rage, Ty the Tasman Tyger, Ty 2.

^ yeah the compatibility list is fucking terrible. i also have games like panzer dragoon and jsrf that dont work. my gf also likes things like karaoke revolution, but again no cigar.

luckily i have an original xbox, but id rather not have to set it up. that said, full auto looked awesome and sucked ass.

the backwards compatible list has a lot of shitty games because they are very similar to other games they worked to make backwards compatible....they can add those games with little or no effort

but yes, the list is not very good, for some reason i feel like sony did a better job with it's backwards compatible games on ps2 from ps1

If you really play through the game and take your time, not just rush through it at a low level, it will take you closer to 100hrs if not more just for the main quest. I've got it on PC and I'm lvl 21 and just closed the first Oblivion gate. If you buy it that will be the only game you'll need for Xbox360 for a while, that is of course if you're into RPGs.

yeah battlefield 2: modern combat. i really wanted to get into it, maybe ill try the demo.

^^ no doubt, im lvl 18 on one guy and did just the theives guild stuff, that was 30 hrs alone. now on my 2nd guy at lvl 14 and around 15hrs play time, doing the main quest and fighters guild stuff (beat the arena already).

plan to do a 3rd runthrough, but i plan to get at least 100hrs out of this game, which i cant say for many games before it (even rpgs).
