Delhomme didn't so so bad I beleive it was conservative play calling, Please anybody who starts suggesting that Weinkie needs to start, set yourself on fire.

i put this another thread, but it belongs here too

Quote :
"
delhomme has been a complete disaster this year.

This is the worst quarterback play the Panthers have had in their entire existence and I am including Frank Reich AND even fucking Steve Beuerlein in this comparison.

(i'm excluding Matt Lytle and Randy Fasani b/c they weren't real)"

delhomme is not that bad

and neither was beaurline

im thinking its the defensive and offensive coaches that are not doing their jobs
the playcalling has been terrible w/ the exception of last week

i was at the game today, and after watching delhomme work, it seems to me that he has seriously regressed for some reason. He gets happy feet in the pocket way too quickly, and he seems to have lost the ability to look off safeties and linebackers. Everytime i made it a point to watch him on a play, he never scanned more than one half of the field, and i was really disturbed at the amount of times he never even looked off of the guy he ended up throwing too. You could just about predict who the ball was going too each play, even if he wasn't open. I even called the freakin interception in the red zone, since he stared at Proehl for 3 seconds before throwing it to him. I don't know if this is all in Delhomme's head, or if we just don't have the coaching staff in place to develop quarterbacks further (i'm not raggin on Fox, i'm talkin about the offense coordinator or the QB coach. More than likely OC, since the play calling was an absolute DISGRACE)

weinke didnt lose 15 straight games, he wasnt the startnig quarterback for all of them that year

and weinke had jack shit to work with.

if you take away steve smith turning 5 yard throws into 65 yard TD's then its been closer than you think. Delhomme simply hasnt been getting the job done.

Awful gameplan by the panthers today though... run, run, run punt

thats crap

Beuerlein was fucking awful. Sure he threw for 4,000 yards, but he lost 2,500 in sacks...

not to mention he fumbled away about 100 games. He is the most overrated player ever... any true Panther fan hates that man for what he did to us for those seasons...the ONE good thing Seifert did was to can that clown.

i support the run, run, run, because it takes time to reestablish the run
if fans are patient enough not to boo then well get back to doing what we do best
