MORE LIKE EMILY.....BORINGAINES!!!!! AM I RITE?!?!

I'm so clever.

But seriously, I'm in love with her voice. The songs on that album do kind bore me, though.

p.s. Joanna Newsom - Ys. Number one with a bullet.

p.p.s. Boys and Girls in America is up there somewhere.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, Weird Al's "Straight Outta Lynwood" is pretty decent. Hit top 10, which is the best he has done so far.

they were awesome, as always, although i'd say only 50-75 people showed up to see them. this was my 5th time seeing them and this was the longest set i've seen them play, good stuff.

^ I saw them play at the Duke Coffeehouse last month and then the Flying Anvil in Greensboro shortly after. Really good shows.

Can't wait for their new EP.

I bet Doctor's Advocate by Game will be the best hip-hop album of the year

with nas' album (if it comes out this year), AZ's The Format, Ghostface's Fishscale, and The Roots Game Theory fighting for 2nd

i thought beirut was REALLY same-y when they were at duke coffeehouse. oh yeah and i was pretty annoyed by bombadil's "HEY LOOK AT US!!! WE'RE INTERESTING BECAUSE WE'RE WEARING HATS!!! PAY NO ATTN TO OUR DERIVATIVE MUSIC!!!! JUST LOOK AT OUR HATS!!!" factor.

those cats were the biggest ass clowns i've seen maybe ever...that whole huck finn persona they tried to pull off with the hats and suspenders was mad gay. it was just sheer disbelief that kept me standing there through it.
