I don't think the all-star idea is working as well as CBS hoped. All of the houseguests have been quiet, reserved, and fairly drama-less. The live feeds are boring.

Well I think the problem is that they don't have the emotional players left like past seasons like Ivette, Eric, Jase. Marci is the most emotional person here & he's completely different.

& ya, there's no hook ups either.

I think the reason for both of these things is because the players here are all mental players (or at least trying to be), or just bums who serve no purpose in the game.

The lack of drama is simply becuase BB picked the wrong people to be here. There was no reason Nikomas, CGeorge, Erika, Howie, & Diane should have been here. They should have had more crazy people (Ivette, Eric...).

If Ivette or Eric would have gotten in I'd have had a hard time watching this season. "Cappy" and his minions always pissed me off.

It's probably boring because everyone came in pretty much set with the alliances, and then everyone noticed the whole alliance thing didn't make sense. Typically there are 2 alliances and they go after each other, but this season there are 2 alliances and then a bunch of people, and the 2 alliances didn't go after each other.

And so far, CBS isn't really keeping them on their toes with unexpected twists. So far, no mystery things to unlock/solve, no houseguests with game-changing secrets, etc.

I am really hoping the evicted houseguests are part of some interesting plot twist instead of just waiting to be a part of the jury.

whoever said that Howie shouldnt be here this season is crazy, he's one of the people keeping everything interesting. Everyone else on your list of people who shouldnt be around I can agree with

people like diane and erika have brought nothing to the game. Nothing was gayer than when diane would be like, if they keep me in the house, janelle better watch out cause all hell is gonna break lose. No, it's not.

As far as Eric and Ivette, as much controversy as they could have caused, i'm not sure I would have been able to watch.

janelle needs to get drunk one night and hook up with somebody in the house. The show would then be back on track. As far as twists go, i am losing confidence that CBS is going to make things a little more interesting than wake up calls and mike boogie talking in his sleep

^^Howie was funny as hell last season when he was making fun of April and her dog Pepperoni.

Hopefully we'll see some more of that.

Yeah I think James is slowly heading towards the door.

He is a very strong player, people know that. He's much more likely to win a competition over Kayser.

I expect Chilltown to work with Janelle and side with Kayser. That's 5 people, and they will make a pact to remove the rest of the floaters until it's the 5 of them left. That's Howie, Janelle, and Chilltown. That's 4 votes. But they'll need one more, because of James' pass to nullify one vote. So unless they can convince Marcellas, Erika, or Chicken George to help them, Kayser is likely still going home.

I wouldn't be suprised if Will told Marcellas that James was claiming he won everything just to get Marcellas' vote.

Will's motto should be: Why do something yourself, when you can have someone else do it for you?

I loved how James was so gung-ho to get Chicken George out because he was just riding along, but that's EXACTLY what Chilltown is doing, haha. They have won ONE event(Veto) and other than that they haven't really put up much of an effort to win any of them.

Will he be able to use that pass even though he's on the block? Also, if Danielle was trying to get rid of Janelle why didn't she backdoor her? I was really surprised when she put up James and Janelle from the start. I didn't really see the point of James going up against Janelle other then wanting to change the perception of his relationship with Danielle.

^Yeah I think he'll be able to use the pass, think it was meant to be used while on the block.

Also, I'm also suprised that Danielle didn't backdoor Janelle to begin with. With the way things are going now, it seems to be the only way to get rid of someone.

Danielle better hope James survives this week and that Janelle doesn't get the HoH next week.

James can only use the pass this week, so it will be used. Even still though, I'm not sure he's going to stay. It looks like it come down to who CT votes for.

Danielle really did fuck up this week though. Either she has been playing James (which makes little sense) or she's utterly retarded. It made no sense to put James up to begin with. She should have put up Kaysar & Janielle that way at least 1 will go. (& put James up if Kaysar got the Veto) Now she really could be screwing the only guy who has her back. That's smart.

CG & Marci may be the only ones who for sure will vote against Kaysar. Janielle & Howie will certainly vote against James. Erika, Will, & Mike could vote either way, so who knows.

I'm not so sure howie will definitely vote against James. He's so undecided on any decision in the house so far. However, i think he will do whatever Janelle does to keep the alliance together as much as still possible, which would be to vote for james to leave.

Mike Boogie and Will are looking out for themselves and that's it. They know that James is in an alliance with everybody in the house, so this would be a perfect oppurtunity for them to stir up the house without having the repurcussions put back on them.

Looking back now, i think the vote will either be unanimous to vote james out, or 5-2 to get kaysar out (janelle and howie being the 2)

Former Big Brother Houseguests will Return to Participate in this Week's Head of Household Competition, Food Competition and Veto Competition

Julie Chen Will Announce Details for this Season's Newest Twist, the "Coup d'Etat" on Thursday, Aug. 10

The remaining Houseguests competing on this season of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS will be treated to some familiar faces this week as several former Houseguests lend their services to this week's Head of Household competition on Thursday, Aug. 10, the Food Competition on Sunday, Aug. 13 and the Veto Competition on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

The first group of former BIG BROTHER Houseguests will return for a surprise cameo appearance this Thursday, Aug. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) during the live eviction show. The former Houseguests will be incorporated into the HOH competition, which will require this season's All Stars to recall specific clues they have received from the former Houseguests throughout the week in order to be crowned this week's HOH. Another group of former Houseguests will return to serve as judges during this week's Food Competition on Sunday, Aug. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The BIG BROTHER blast from the past week will conclude with former Houseguests also playing a role in the all important Veto Competition on Tuesday, Aug. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

During the Live broadcast on Thursday, Aug. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), host Julie Chen will explain this season's newest twist, the "Coup d'Etat," which she teased at the end of last week's live eviction show. The "Coup d'Etat" will enable one person to overthrow the HOH at a moment's notice."

I hope I like this twist. The POV process, with its usual "backdoor nomination" use, has become too predictable. I hope this means that a split second nomination and vote is required as well.

That twist pretty much makes HoH mute unless you win both or an alliance member wins the second.

My immediate thought was "Wolf in sheep's clothing".

Janelle, Danielle, & Marci would seem to be the only ones who she might want gone, being she flirts with all the guys.

Erika is the definition of floater.

I think it'll depend on who offers her what. But with the new power I don't think her nominations will mean much.

So if you're trying not to be spoiled don't read the description of tonight's show on Time Warner's guide. It plainly says a pretty big spoiler for tonight's episode right there on the guide.

I would be pretty pissed if I didn't already read spoiler sites.

Well I guess now it wasn't sooo spoilerish. It was information that you would have had if they hadn't fucked up the comp. on Thursday.

When I heard that Janelle was the new HOH I thought it had to do with the sheep clue guessing and that really would have been a spoiler.

Wow, George is an idiot (surprise). He - who is a floater - nominates another floater, and someone who is semi-allied with floaters. I mean, come on...!

James was the one who nominated George though a few weeks back. That nomination was no surprise at all. I have no doubt James is who George wants out.

But ya.. Erika? This makes me think he made a deal with Janelle & Howie that if he wasn't backdoored, he wouldn't nominate them.

Just out of curiosity though, does anything else think James threw this competition also? He was winning & knew it, then made bad guesses the last 3 times.

yea he made some really bad guesses.

Looked like CG and Danielle both tried to tried to throw it at the end, answering 300 when the correct answer was 6000.

CG isn't smart enough to throw it.

I doubt Danielle would throw it either, she wouldn't have stepped down for the opportunity to take out Janelle again.

They probably just....yeah, I have no logical reason for why their answers would be so low. Maybe they were both lowballing the answer hoping the other person would go over?
