Wow. so this is pretty much so the worst musical performance in the history of television.

Overpowered organ music much?

it was a joke

i hate when bands peak on album #1(full length)...its hard to avoid when the debut is that good, but it really ruins the rest of them

If the purpose was to drown out any other instruments and vocals, they did a hell of a job.

Not having heard of any of their music before tonight, I have to say I'm very not impressed.

Clearly you have never heard evanescence perform live.

I thought the organ was a little too loud, but it was a pretty good performance IMO.

sounds like they just need to turn his mic up a little bit.. you can't tell what he's saying unless he's screaming

Judging by the second song, it appears they are actually trying to drown out any chance of actually hearing the vocals.

yeah...the sound seemed way off...i had to turn my stereo up a good bit to even really hear any of the lyrics. I'm hoping that it was just due to a shitty set up and not how they want it to sound...

Have you people never heard My Bloody Valentine?

Vocals you can hear are soooooo 1984.

if by my bloody valentine, you mean lyrics are so 1984, then sure

but the vocals were critical

you dont have to say profound shit, but it has to sound cool

Meh, playing guitars with two/three strings is so 1995. I practically expected him to launch into "Lump."

Schoolkids is having a midnight sale for this album. You can come get the new Arcade Fire album for $8.99 (or the Bright Eyes' EP "Four Winds) at 12:00 AM next Monday night. We will have the deluxe version as well (price still to be determined). Be the coolest kid in your neighborhood #1. LOL!

SNL live performance was ok, but the smashing the guitar shit at the end was not cool. At all. Very scripted.

I can see him stripping the rest of his guitar strings because the one broke....but the smash was not cool.
