I don't have any superhero figures, but I do have an entire shelf of McFarlanes that are all goalies.

Everyone who sees them says "WTF, get a shooter!"

Shooters suck.

Just got my reprolabels for Alt. Jazz, and they're AMAZING. Makes him look like a completely different toy. Thirty times better. The RX-8 in this livery also does a good job of splitting the difference between the Martini Porsche 935 of original Jazz and the more recent Martini Focus WRC that wore similar striping (and I mean orientation, not just the Martini colors).

Creating good missions with action figures is tough, and requires about 10 of them, but the problem is by the end of it. You end up with 1 or 2 that are melted

Btw, transformers suck gigatroncock.

1. I really want Ravage and I have to skate in WF tonight, so I'll check there.

2. I got myself a Devastator at the Fuquay Super Walmart (Thanks BigMan). When I got there, there weren't any on the shelf and I worried that I had driven 25 minutes for nothing, but there were three cases on a pallet around the corner. One of the cases was already open and I snatched one out of there, leaving two (in a box of five). I don't know if the other two were the ones on the shelf earlier or had already been grabbed by someone, but as of around 1 AM last night, there were at least 12 Devastators at the Fuquay store.

3. Devastator is AWESOME. Way better than I expected from the pictures. The gift set packaging is also pretty great (although it results in way too many twisties). There are two little molding/assembly issues that are easily fixable addressed here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showpost.php?p=1184821&postcount=27

None of the movie toys are really catching my fancy (aside from the car mode of Barricade, but his robot SUCKS), so I think I'm done for a while. Phew.

^^ you missed ravage and rumble. They were a couple pallets up in really long rectangular boxes.

And you probably got your Devastator out of the one they opened for me XD

I should've known to look for the Ravage/Rumble cases because I saw the pictures of the 3x2 endcap display boxes. Oh well. I really only want Ravage because of the Jaguar.

I was just relieved to know that I hadn't been misreading Hasbro shipping boxes at 1 AM for a week.

About to buy what will probably be the grail of my collection:

Also, that TRU has always been scalp-tastic. The one on Glenwood was waaaaay better, especially when the other reissues were out a couple years back, but now its gone

Got some pretty cool KOs today at Big Lots on Western. They're Legends of Cybertron molds made into figures that are between basic and deluxe size. The colors are pretty good, and the Prime has the wings and weapons from the leader size Galaxy Force Prime that the LOC figure doesn't. They all come with guns that the LOCs didn't have, but they're sort of pointless since the molds don't really bend at the elbow. Starscream has a gun and a sword that fold out of his wings, but I forgot to put them out. Evac looks damn good in vehicle mode. Not bad for $6 total.

Jetfire and Megatron are on the cards, but I didn't see any in the store. I left another Prime and a Hot Shot (didn't like the colors). Also of interest is that the art on the card is of the genuine leader- and ultra-size figures (unlike the G2 and Beast Wars KOs).

^ ah, KOs, what won't they think of? Either those look interesting, or there's so little coming down the pike besides movie stuff that they look interesting comparatively.

The Evac and Starscream aren't anything special, but considering they cost half of what the smaller LOC figures do, I like 'em.

The Prime is VERY interesting considering they took the tiny LOC mold and inexplicably added the Super Robot Mode parts from the $40 figure.

Oh yeah, there's a 4 pack of LoCs at Target with Op, Megs, Soundwave, and Jetfire. Only ten bucks and right near the check out lines. Pretty good deal if you liked LoCs and missed any of these, Op and Megs were pretty tough to get when first released (i.e. not mass retail, only places like drug stores had em).

^ I can't believe how hard it got to find some Cybertron stuff. Unlike Energon, where stuff sat on shelves for -years-, it seems like after x-mas this year, any leftover Cyb. toys were gone. CD Scattorshot was a shelf warmer for months, along with guys like CD Red Alert, Dark Scorponok, and Galvatron, to name a few. Then one day, poof, bye. Glad I got mine early, though being a rabid fanboy will make that happen.

Anyways, here's an ebay link for the whole CD team, which is actually a good deal considering their total retail would've been $60: http://tinyurl.com/2xw747

And now, for your pleasure, I give you... Shining Magnus.

With the rest of my G1 Autobots.

Leave it to me to make a beautiful shot, and ruin it by having his missle launcher lopsided.

The matrix that comes with Masterpiece Magnus fits scarily well into G1 Prime/Magnus cabs. Hard to see though, so here's a close up.

Epic.

With crystal Hot Rod in tow.

Ok, enough for now. Watch my photobucket's bandwidth die and these be 'red-x's in ten minutes XD
