this is a pic i took in florence. this is a public recharging station and i did not see anywhere where you could put money in it, or slide a card or a pass. unfortunately, i didnt see the owner, but from my understading city has free recharging stations to entice people to buy electric vehicles. btw there were a few electric scooters parked beside the car. those things are dangerous cause you dont hear them sneak up behind you till the driver starts cussin in italian telling you to get off the fuckin road haha

anyone have an idea of a good local place to get parts for buses? i need a few misc. things like a passenger side winshield, wiper arms, and a mirror. alot of things are universal across other buses and medium duty trucks in general, but some are brand specific (like the winshield). fleetpride maybe?

i found a place online that has everything at decent prices, but they require you to have an account and do a certain amount of business. more geared to supplying fleets i guess. guess i'll ask on skoolie.net about other online places if there's nowhere local.

when i got ivans bus switched from a bus to an rv on the title they were here in 2 days to do the inspection. it was a bitch because the cunt that did it said even though by letter of law it was an rv it did not feel like one to her so she wouldnt approve it. thus i had to call he boss and have him read her the law. it took about a week but it finally got approved.

true. i got a couple of the seats from ScHpEnXeL's bus for some additional seating.

derby is on as usual. there's alot of piddly stuff that needs to be done to the cars to get them ready. biggest thing is probably getting a core support and radiator back in the subaru. i wouldn't mind picking up another v8 class car if a good one comes along, but i'm not going to actively look for anything else.

No pre-planning, regarding gathering grease. Of probably 6 stops, I think we were denied probably twice the entire time. In some of the northwestern states (namely wyoming) we had a hard time finding decent grease traps - a lot of the places there just had 50 gallon barrels that appeared to be traded out pretty frequently. We did find a lot of grease at grocery stores and at the last stop, we found a wendys that had a couple hundred gallons that filled us up nicely.
