I hate Lehmann more than anyone on Arsenal. Fabregas is a close second. He's as stuck up as C. Ronaldo without being anywhere near as good. Also, van Persie looks like a bitch, but he's actually pretty good.

He's way overrated. All he can do is pass well sometimes. He's not particularly fast. He's not awesome at dribbling. His free kicks are better than average. I just don't see what the big deal is. fabregas is a great player...but you cannot come close to comparing him with ronaldo...

i would consider c. ronaldo a new breed of player. he is stronger than most at his position, certainly faster, one of the best in the world with the ball at his feet, a ridiculously good free kick taker...plus he has the lethal finish of a striker

hes not just a complete player...hes almost the best in the world at all aspects of what he does.

I'm not saying he's a bad player. But he's certainly overrated. Seriously, go to Youtube and watch highlight videos of him. Half of the highlights are missed shots, simple passes, or sliding tackles. If those are the moments that compose a player's highlight video, I don't see how anyone could call them a great player. He's a good player who fits very well into Arsenal's structure, but I'd say Rosicky is a much better player than he is. And the video where he tackles Ballack and then walks over to taunt him is one of the most classless things I can imagine doing. Not surprised by it coming from an Arsenal player though.

Wow, that's quite a lineup. And they only beat Sweden by 2 points. Sweden is on the way down too. Larsson is gone, Ljundberg is past his prime. All they really have Ibrahimovic. Spain is consistently one of the most disappointing teams in tournament play. We'll see how badly they fail this summer in the Euros. Fabregas will no doubt be a shadow out there.

That pretty much lines up with everything I've said about him. Good passer (hence the assists). Picks up cheap goals. Gooner... He's not a great dribbler contrary to what Arsenal fans claim. He's not a particularly good shooter. He's decent on set pieces. Works hard on both sides of the ball. But there's plenty of people in the EPL who are better than him. If Arteta of Everton were to switch places with him I bet his numbers would exceed Fabregas'. He's simply a product of the system he plays in. Many, many players in the world could fill his role equally as well.

On the other hand, Ronaldo is almost averaging a goal a game in league play. If you expand appearances and goals to all competition it's 30 App and like 27 goals or something like that. Any player who can play in a wing position on either side of the field equally well and score goals at that rate can simply not be overrated... ever... no matter what. He's also a much more complete player. He's arguably the best dribbler in the world. He's much better with his head. He's faster. He's stronger. Probably not as good defensively, but not a slouch. Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now, hands down.

I honestly thought Fabregas was closer to 23 or 24 which does change my opinion of him quite a bit. For a 20 year old player, he is very talented. As far as his current actual talent level goes, however, I'd still have to say that he is overrated. I just don't think he is as dominant a player as so many other people think he is. Obviously he's going to get better because that's what all 20 year old phenoms do but right now I really don't think he is anywhere near one of the best players in the world. He certainly has the potential to get there though. I honestly didn't think he was as young as he is and that does change his value a whole helluva lot.
