yep...

matter of fact one of Houston's linemen said that they didn't like blocking for carr but they'll block for
houstons new qb... which strange enough would be playing this game if atl didn't trade him

Panthers QB aggravates arm injury
Associated Press, Updated 2 hours ago

ATLANTA (AP) - Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme had to leave against the Atlanta Falcons with an ailing right elbow Sunday, but he doesn't believe the injury is serious.

Delhomme began shaking his arm and motioning toward the sideline as soon as he delivered a short pass to Brad Hoover late in the third quarter. David Carr played the rest of the game, finishing off a 27-20 victory.

Delhomme said the injury actually happened earlier in the quarter.

"It didn't feel right," he said. "It was just kind of bothering me a little bit. It's like a strain. Hopefully, it's just a little muscle in there. We'll see."

The quarterback couldn't even make it all the way to the sideline, dropping to a knee while still on the field before finally walking off. Carr finished the touchdown drive and also directed the Panthers to a field goal.

"It was too crucial a drive to stay in," Delhomme said. "We needed to get points on that drive. I didn't want to be macho."

The injury actually occurred on Carolina's previous possession, when Delhomme was sacked by John Abraham. The quarterback still managed a tying 5-yard touchdown pass to Jeff King.

"I was able to throw a couple of more passes after that," Delhomme said.

Carr, the former No. 1 overall pick, was 3-of-4 for 56 yards in relief. Delhomme, meanwhile, got his arm iced down and planned to undergo an X-ray when he got back to Carolina.

"I tried to run the team like Jake had been doing," Carr said.

ha D-hall got beat up in the locker room after the game (no bullshit)

Quote :
" HALL BEAT UP IN FALCONS LOCKER ROOM?

There are uncorroborated rumors making the rounds that Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall was beat up, presumably by one or more teammates, following a Falcons loss that was fueled in part by Hall's inability to control his emotions.

After being flagged for a total of 37 yards on a second-half drive that the Panthers used to tie the game, Hall got into a sideline confrontation with coach Bobby Petrino.

We don't know for sure whether Hall was indeed roughed up or otherwise accosted by teammates after the game, but it wouldn't surprise us to find out that the rumor is true. Hall is a brash and outspoken member of the organization, and his Virginia Tech ties to Mike Vick probably have prompted some in the locker room to view him differently in the wake of Vick's legal troubles. Today's actions would have potentially been enough to get a frustrated Falcon to convert hostile feelings toward Hall into action."

I think the main complaint of most 'foster haters' isn't that he's not a good RB, it's that he is made of glass.
