when you go to church and you have things you want forgiveness for do you just think them or do you have to say them aloud or what?
i am really looking forward to going...i feel it will help me in the short term 11/21/2007 8:59:24 PM

^ thats more of a reconciliation thing but thats a sacrament only catholics can actually partake in. personally i believe if you are not catholic and are honestly trying to repent for something, God will listen. thats essentially what reconciliation is based on anywho 11/21/2007 9:01:28 PM

so lately i havent been feeling closer to god or anything, but i have been wanting to help those less fortunate...its the american way...yesterday i was planning out starting a nonprofit organization to get donations for people for christmas, etc.....i feel this is something a catholic would do 12/23/2007 3:52:22 PM

giving to the less fortunate is a good thing to do no matter what denomination you are- i'm a fan of volunteering at the food bank, helping hand mission, and adopt a platoon (thats a yr round thing for me). 12/23/2007 3:56:43 PM

^^^^ you get assigned a platoon stationed in the "sand box" (for a length of time, or just one occasion) and send letter/gifts for each member of said platoon. its my favorite organization to volunteer for, mostly because i have had several platoon leaders keep in touch. it is really nice to get to know some of these people and show support for them.

its sorta an age thing from what i've noticed.
old Christian denominations get christened newer ones get baptized
btw this is a ginourmous generalization so i'm sure there are ones that don't fit the rule.
i know Lutherans Catholics and Episcopalians get christened though. 12/31/2007 7:43:56 PM

if you are catholic, do you believe that this could happen:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3338563/Catholic-Diocese-investigate-bleeding-communion-wafer-hailed-miracle-Utah-church.html
a wafer was put in water but instead of dissolving, it is still there after 3 days and has started "bleeding". catholic church is investigating to see if it is a miracle.
video in link.
