There was a discussion about the iphone, its cost, and the contract and extra fees that may or may not be required.

They're disagreeing with your assessment that the 2 year contract required to get a $200 iphone isn't part of what you pay for the thing.

my assessment didn't say anything about NOT having to sign a 2 year contract BECAUSE that was discussed earlier. Like I said...and I know you read it...it doesn't matter how you get the iphone for $200 or what kind of hoops you jump through, its still a $200 ipod product. And signing the 2 year agreement makes no difference because you have to sign it ANYWAY to activate the iphone. may as well get a discount with it.
